Tabitha Davidson in Florence Cemetery
Hello! Thank you for your contributions to Find-a-Grave!

Do you have any additional information regarding Tabitha Davidson (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=66123012&ref=acom). Do you happen to know who her husband was and if she was the mother of John J. Davidson, also in Florence? (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Davidson&GSiman=1&GScid=22819&GRid=58856996&).

Thanks again!

You recently sent me an update for Mary Vandegriff. I have added her husband's obituary which lists his parents and children. Without a more definitive date of death, I can't find Mary's obit. If you can narrow it down to at least a month and year, I can try to find it.

I'm not family.

Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, in Winston County
Hi Kathline,

I recently learned that this cemetery had been created previously in error in Cullman County. I suppose someone had the two merged in the correct county. I am very meticulous with what I do, I try not to make mistakes. I will check the listings and remove any I have created that are now duped because of someone else having entered the cemetery in the wrong county.

Thank you for the research and update. Right or wrong, at least it matches the grave marker. It still could be wrong, but it is the best we can do.

I remember the days of not having many titles. I refused to put "Lt." on one of mine when it so clearly had "2nd Lt." Close, but not really correct. (I need to go back and look for that one.)

Thanks again for hearing me out and for looking it up.

Explanation
Can you please explain the meaning of the medallion that looks like a star with the initials of GAR and, of course, the dates are 1861-1865 (which I know to be the Civil War). Just would like an explanation of GAR. Thanks so very much.

Linda

I was wondering where you found the medallion you left on Calvin Thompson's memorial on Find A Grave. Thanks, Nancy Carlson. nancycarlson1@charter.net

RE: Ruth Halliday
Picture has been deleted.

I don't know if I could find the picture but would you like to have it. I bought it off ebay with the intention of sending it to the Cairo Library but there is no point. The town is dying.

RE: Ruth Halliday
I'm not opposed to removing the picture however I don't know if I can find the new listing you are going to make. You should be able to download the picture I posted and transfer it to your new listing. Let me know when this is done and I will see if I can delete the picture.
