Find A Grave has been a great way for me to pursue my goals as a family historian. It is much more than just a record of where folks are buried with the feature to link family members and essentially build a family tree for all other family members to view and appreciate.|
As I visit cemeteries I try to take as many photos as possible to post to existing memorials or to add to new memorials where needed.
I will gladly transfer any memorial of a family member or friend of yours. Please use the edit tab to request transfers. I am not fussy about the guidelines - just ask.

Hi Mike I found the app for Find a grave for my ipad and added GPS location for your parents and Grandparents. Check it out on your ipad open the app and search for your father and click on the GPS location and it will bring up a map of where you are and where the grave is. I have had a request for a cemetery map and found this.
You can also view on your computer but probably don't have GPS on it.

Do you have any information on Albert's family? I have an Albert b 1868 Germany arriving and living with grandparents in Brookings. This older Albert is always noted as "single" on census records. Do you have any idea if/what the relation might be.

I could not find very much information for Della Clara Iverson when I created a page for her. If you have any additional information for her I would be glad to add it. OR If you would like me to transfer her to you I would be happy to, just let me know.

I appreciate the posting for Mildred L Ness but it is not correct. Mildred L Ness is not the daughter of Gidvert Ness. She was the daughter in Law of Gidvert Ness. She was Married to Gidverts Son Wayne Ness and they later divorced. My mother Mildred Ness just passed away at the age of 100 and I discovered the error when trying to enter the correct relationship to her father. Mildred L Ness maiden name was Opsahl. Please remove the connection to Gidvert and the Photo of my mom and her brothers.
|LLO||Jermstad Family Photo|
My father, grandparents and great grandparents lived in Brookings, S.D. from the 1880's to the 1950's. I just found a picture amongst my grandmothers belongings and it says 'Jermstad' on the back. There are 3 women and 4 young girls in the b/w photo and the photo studio is O.G. Oyloe, Brookings, S.D. My grandmothers name was Clara Winjum Olson. Are you related to the Jermstad's or if I scanned the picture for you could you tell me who is in the picture. P.S. Everyone is dressed in black except for the youngest girl, who is dressed in white.
