Merge records
I was looking at my husband's 2great grandmother and realized there seem to be 2 memorials for each family member. Is there a way to merge them into one? The exception is the Abigail Smith Bowen with different dates. The correct ones are 1838-1906 from the Smith family Bible. If you know who the other one is please let me know if cemetery records indicate she is a child or other relative.
2 for - Alverzo Angelo Bowen
says AA Bowen and one says the full name.
2-for Abigail Smith Bowen
2 - Myrtie Leora Bowen Taylor?

Please advise how I may help.

What a nice surprise
I was looking for some type of obituary of my father's parents, Peter and Margaret (Darcy) from Crutt. Margaret was from Coon. I was surprised when this came up. I now have a photo of my Grandmother when she was young and my Great Grandparents. My father, Frank Boran, the baby of 14, is still alive at 87 and a half. I do believe he will recognize some of the faces. I see a lot of family similarity in the faces. Especially in the Great Grandfather face. Almost all of my Father's family has a face shape similar to his. Several of the brothers look like my brothers. This is especially meaningful to me since my parents were immigrants and I did not grow up with extended family and anyone to pass on these photos. Thank you for what you do !!!
email me if possible.

Sutton, Billie & sister Gladys
You might like to know that the volunteer that set up these 2 memorials worked with me and moved the memorials to the proper cemetery. Originally they were mistakenly listed in the Rosebud Cem. of Bonesteel, SD. The parents are there but Billie and his sister were buried in the Sutton Family Cementery located near their ranch. You might wish to review their memorials as interesting items have been added to each of their bio.
Is a long ways to cemetery, gravel roads, so not sure about getting photos of the gravestones. But was told by dau. there are stones for each of them.

Sutton gravestobe photos
I visited the Rosebud Cem. of Bonesteel, SD today. While there I took photos of the gravestone for William and Zella Sutton. Thought you might wish to view them as they are the parents of Billie and Gladys Sutton. I am working on your requests for photos of Billie and Gladys stones.

RE: A wonderful photo
I just noticed your very last request. Of course you may copy the photo and use it for your family records. I did not take it, but was given the opportunity to share it. It should be a treasure to your family, so enjoy!

Wilhelmina Darcy
So sorry. Didn't mean to imply anything about your understanding. I have worked, as a volunteer, on this project for over a year. Have met lots of folks with lots of ideas about how names should show up. Sometimes that has caused me to create duplicate pages because the names were not searchable. I just searched hers again and found a slight "oops". You left a . (period) at the end of Darcy, keeping it from sorting out with other Darcy folks.

You did a nice, inclusive, bio on her. I was sure of the date on the portrait because I was told that all living members of the Order had their portraits taken in 1930.

Thank you for your help in making this page easy for researchers to find and interesting to read.

RE: Sister Wilhelmina
Picture was taken in 1930. I wanted to see the photo again before responding to you. But it was very hard for me to search for her because you added ,OSF as part of her last name. It is not part of her name, merely the initials of the Order she joined. Please do searchers a huge favor and remove the initials. That lines her up with all the other Darcy family that you love so much. Thanks!!

Keith, at one time I had your email, when we did the Darcy family. Did you change it...cannot find your name in my contacts.

Wanted you to know I found the obit for Patrick Curtin, died 1909. Am adding him to St. Ludger in Creighton.
