Bio and Links
Bio Photo I research many family lines>> They come from Pa to NC/TN, from KY to TX.Willing to take those of my family lines, extended families & those in our Smothers Tribe DNA project to manage when I run across them. I am glad to submit various family memorials as the info is gathered & given to me. It is my passion as a genial genealogist to assist others as much as possible.

..I like this from members pages "Let's make it a goal to add as much info, as we can possibly document, to these memorials."
.."I enjoy reading contributors Bio's but it's called that for a reason but Not, to use the space to reiterate guidelines by a contributor who feels the need to preach to others about how they should make their memorials. Believing we are all adults & know the guidelines most all do act accordingly & do not need preaching."
.."Any and all info or pics I have uploaded are meant for SHARING! I just don't understand anyone thinks different, if you don't want to share, than DON'T put them on a public site!"

Death certificates may be added via the "Add a photo" button on the memorial page. [that should end that discussion]I like DC for info and guides esp if one died young, why? It's important to visitors and family, esp if some inherited health issue family needs to know. DNA test called 23and me helps families know inherited fatal issues; passed from generations down.

"The Dash" based on little line on tombstone, between the dates of birth-death; ultimately, is a symbol represents each day spent alive on earth; how one spends the "dash" is what really matters; memorials hopefully give a glimpse into lives of that DASH!

Living on a working ranch, happily retired; heartfelt Passion for Genealogy; immensely enjoy working with members, helping folks connect with their ancestors; happy to make links, corrections & transfers. Esp appreciative of gravestone photographers; big Cudos!!Many kind thanks leaving flowers of ancestor memorials!
~Happy Trails!

PS-Not sure WHO deleted my pet peeve of going to my memorials, signing MY name and adding a forget me not flower I do NOT have in my scrapebook, but STOP IT! IT'S BEING DONE AGAIN PLUS DELETING SOME OF MY OWN SCRAPEBOOK FLOWERS!

Wiliam Smeathers
Hello Nena, I'm a descendent of William Smeathers. I just found this out. I was wondering if you knew why he died in Brazoria Co. but was buried in Williamson Co.?

Thanks!

Hi Nena,

You're very welcome. I've added the photo to Mary Agnes' site. It appears you may have already made a request for the cemetery be changed to St. Joseph's.

Best regards,

Rich Rosen

Catherine Lange
Hi,

I agree, the links that someone submitted were not correct. I looked up the death certificate and corrected the dates/links. I will look at the other Catherine Lange's to see if one of them has a maiden name Cole.

They do bury wives there. I usually check the reverse side of the marker for a wife and post to their Memorial. I may have missed one, I'll check on my next visit.

Nina, You are so welcome. I am a new photo volunteer for Find A Grave, and am hoping my pictures are coming out nicely. I added you as a "friend" because your bio had such good advice for me just starting out. Happy 4th back. Becky
