Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Harrison Township, MI (suburb outside of Detroit), and have been working on my family tree and my husbands family tree for over 10 years now. I love using cemetery records to enhance my trees and am always excited at the prospect of meeting these important family members for the first time.

My main family branches are Kargol, Boda, Sobieski, Narkiewicz, Szczesny, Lempicki, Roman, Marchik and Hapanowicz, and are for the most part, from Poland and Slovakia, immigrating to Pennsylvania and then on to Hamtramck (Detroit) MI. My husband's family are immigrants to Ontario, Canada from Ireland, England and Scotland and they are Casey, Heffernan, Fitzgerald, Gray, Pallister and Marvel families.

Pictures on my memorials are from my personal family albums. Please do not use without an okay from me first. I have seen pictures taken from my memorials used without permission and sometimes used incorrectly. Please, ask first.

Transfer Request

I have slowly been catching up with my close family members on Find-A-Grave and making memorials, especially for those who have my living cousins. Lately I have been doing my Motherís family in Maple Grove Cemetery Suttons Bay, MI in particular. This is the long
way of asking you if you would transfer my first cousin Kenny Priest to my care. Memorial# 115597268 I have personal photos and his obit. that I'd like to add. Kenny has two brothers and a sister (my cousins)who survive and live here. Your help would be gratefully appreciated.

RE: Elmwood Cemetery
Hi, I am glad you found your relatives. Since I don't have their names, I don't know if I transferred them to you. If I have not, let me know and I can do so.

Back on the 29th of Sept, I tried to fulfill your photo request. There was no headstone. I took a photo of the empty spot and included the stone of Alfredo Canziani who was next to her. If you wish, I can remove this photo.

Casey's of Peterborough, Ontario
Came upon your photos of Mary Fitzgerald Casey who is my great great grandmother. Would be interested in any information you may have on the family. My line is from her son, James Casey. I also live in Michigan (Grand Blanc). You can contact me at at your convenience, maybe after the holidays?
Sincerely, Renee McGarry

RE: Victor Budzisch
I requested the grounds crew search for his marker. The cemetery emailed me today they could not locate a stone for him.

RE: Photo of Ustina (Justina) Ruchalski
That is too cool. What is your great-grandmother's name? Also, I'm encountering some confusion on Justina's birth year (I've seen 1880 and 1896), as well as what her husband's name was. Would you have any of that information?
