Please take note that any pictures taken as a request by myself will be used for my ancestry.com familytree. I started to really get into genealogy in about 2010. I utilize this as well as other websites. If I take a photo for you, you may do as you like with it.

I enjoy helping others with their genealogy and I have a lot of info especially for the Westchester, NY area.

I will be happy to transfer anyone to you that is not near and dear to my heart. Please tell me your relationship and if you are closer to the person that I am, I will transfer them to you. I have recently added veterans from Westchester, NY that are buried in Yonkers. Most of them are not related to me. In addition. most of the people that I have added photos and other info for in North Carolina, are also not related to me and I would be glad to transfer them.

Also, if you do not hear from me please right away, please resend your message in a few weeks. Like anyone else, I go through busy periods.

I have just found out that I need a person's contributer ID in order to transfer a person to them. Please include it with any messages for transfer that you send me.

"THE RECORDING OF A CEMETERY
BY THELMA GREENE REAGAN

Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust."

RE: Joseph Francis Phillip
Actually since I saw the E I looked back on any docs I had and didnt see an F or any middle initial being utilized so it may be a family members memory. To resolve things I for now just removed any middle initial until I can be sure of what it is. Yes his wife was Theresa Pappert who after Joseph died married John Warmingham. Again Thank you for you help.. Do you know any info as to their grave location? I will be coming to NY in July and would like to visit his grave. If you have no info I will call the cemetery.
Thanks

Linda

I am curious as to the setting up of this memorial,
My great grandfather joseph francis phillipp died on this date sept 12,1911. He could very well be buried at calvary where a few members of the family re buried dd you take a picture of a headstone or do you recall the plot location? 160860389

RE: Lilly's
Hi! Not sure why my email link doesn't work. Are you on facebook? Maybe we can connect there. My mother in law is a Lilly. Her dad was Joseph Lilly, grandfather was Frank Lilly, great grandfather was Michael Lilly (senior). I do have some decent research on the family. Michael had two wives, Johanna Lambert and Mary Reilly. Mary Reilly is my husband's direct line. Here's my fb if you'd like to message me there. I'm also on ancestry under sl_holcomb https://www.facebook.com/shanont
