Bio and Links
Bio Photo I lived almost 19 years in G'ville, Alabama. Married and moved to Texas where I lived for 21 years. Moved back to Alabama in 1995 to the Marshall county area. Not long after the death of my husband, I moved to the Albuquerque, New Mexico area and lived there for 14 months and have now moved to the Panhandle of Florida.

I was a Ridgeway before my marriage and am related to the Austins and Lewis families of the Marshall county, Alabama area.

RE: Hugh H. Austin
peachy, this Hugh Austin`s wife was named Tempie. I remember them from my childhood.I was about ten years old when he died. They raised a grand son named Wayne--who moved to Indiana. I also knew the Beed Hampton that you mentioned.I was friends with some of his sons.Mr.Beed was a holiness minister. I haven`t been on this site in couple of years, but am going to get more active on it again.Hope this has been some help to you.

RE: Julia Holderfield
Peachy, Thank You. No Julia is my GreatGrandmother. and Willis Joe is her son my great Uncle. Julia's stone was bought long after she died probably when Willis's was. It should be 1896. My Grandfather was Edward Henry Holderfield. He moved to Oklahoma to the mines, Then moved to SanBardino in late 1940s He died out there in 1951 is buried in Los Angles in a veterans grave. I just got the stone pictures and every time I tried to put them in it said my picture is to big. I don't know how to make it smaller. Jackie
