Bio Photo I am adding family members to Find-A-Grave and have been working on the family genealogy for many years.
I invite all family to contact me with questions they have or to say hello.
However, please do not write me and tell me I don't know where my grandmother was born or where my father is buried. I have extensive records showing where my grandmother was born. Her obit is wrong.

Betty Clawson-Wilmot
Hi Deborah,
I need to ask you a question or two about this lady that you added a picture for. I have down that she was born on April 23, 1799 in Dryden, Cayuga Co. NY and she died on Oct. 3, 1881 in La Prairie, Marshall Co. IL. And do you guys refer to her as Betsy or Elizabeth Clawson-Wilmot? The reason that I ask this is because the Wilmot family is linked through their son Stephen B. Wilmot with daughter Martha Clementine Wilmot-Kelly. And I want my line of Wilmot's to be right and not to just pass down stuff that is wrong. So if you know of this Wilmot family I would greatly appreciate any and all updated material if you do not mind sharing?
You will find Stephen Jr. wife Nellie Alexander-Wilmot buried in Seattle, WA at the Evergreen-Washelli Cemetery. That would be King Co. WA. You can also use the site for free. Martha or Clemie and Owen are buried in Canada.
you can make contact with me at: if you wish. Hope to hear from you soon.

RE: Transfer request
Sorry it has taken me awhile to get back with you. Life has been extremely hectic here, so I have taken a break from family history for awhile.

I have transferred the memorials to you for Leona Matilda GLENN Fowler and her parents, Joseph Murphy GLENN and Dorinda Jane TROY Glenn. Her parents are my husband's 3rd great uncle and aunt. Would you please let me know the additional information you have on the burial location for Leona?

RE: oops
If I have everything correct, your husband descends from Lemmon Settle. Lemmon's sister, Julia Ann, is my 2nd great grandmother. In the next few days, I will send you a link so that you can access my tree that is on & then we can collaborate more on the Settle family.

RE: oops
What is your father-in-law's name? I am going to say that it is through my SETTLE branch that we are related, but will be able to confirm once I have his name.

I do not remember what memorial I messaged you about, I just kind of go through my local cemetery listings to see requests for photos and what-not and if I see a duplicate I try to message one or both people to remove, so I don't think it was probably a relative of mine. But thank you!

RE: Boyd Family
Deborah, I hope everything turns out well for you and your family. Yes, I am related to the Boyd's, but in a very distant way. I input my family thru rootsmagic6 and FamilyTree. I am a little OCD and retired with plenty of time on my hands, which allows me to clean up and complete all the info I can find on family, as well as non-family also. I use only official documents and add findagrave with each person. Of course, as you know, official documents are only as official as the humans that enter the data. So there are a lot of conflicting data out there. Sometimes it becomes a dart board, throwing darts blind folded! I also find and link up with other family members who have entered data before me. It's great. Thank you for taking care of them. If you ever want to give them away to someone who will take good care of them, I would be more than happy to accept them! Have a great week! ~ you live as long as you are remembered ~

Hi Deborah,

Transferred her to you. Don't see her husband George listed on the cemetery website. Either he is still alive, or not buried there, or the cemetery doesn't have him listed (I have noticed a lot of people who are buried at this location who don't show up on the cemetery website, I am pretty sure you could call their 800 number and ask for the records department for Covina and they could tell you if he is buried there or not).
