Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in the Sutherland Shire of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. I am a Mother of five, 3 sons (one son deceased, aged 3 years) and 2 daughters and a Grandmother of seven, 5 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. I have been researching my family ancestry since 2008. The main surnames in my tree are Richardson, Land, Embelton/Embleton, Rostron, Ranson, Brain and Crothers. I am particularly interested in preserving the memory of all our soldiers who fought to keep Australia free. Where there is limited information on their memorials I research for information on their birth details and family background.

Dwight Baker
MM Suffix
I did some research on the first request and found it was for Military Medal and I have no problem putting in on there. I just wanted you to know that it causes the "see who else is buried in the same cemetery etc." to not show the others with that surname since it is specific and will only show others with an MM also. The suffix field is locked and they won't let us put that there.

I know MBE's are used in the UK and don't know if they suffer the same issue or do it differently.

Marcia Rankin
Ethel May Hele nee Thomas
Known as May was my grandmother and she is buried in the West Terrace Cemetery Adelaide South Australia not Centennial Park Pasadena as is stated. She is buried along with her husband Arthur Harold Hele, her mother Matilda Nancy Allan - Thomas, nee Hewish and also I think her father Josiah Thomas. Path 22 plot 53W. In a message I placed on the website I omitted to put in Matilda Nancy's second married name of Allan.

Edward Thomas Kaine
Hello. I am part of a group researching the 390 names on the war memorial in Isleworth, London Borough of Hounslow. We have website www.isleworthww1.co.uk if you would like to check us out.
Edward Thomas Kaine is one of the soldiers I am researching . Each of our soldiers has a Summary sheet with the biographical information we have found out and I wondered if you would allow us to use the photograph of Edward in his Summary sheet. We would be happy to send you an electronic copy of the Summary. The project is not-for-profit and we would not share the photograph with anyone without your permission.
I don't know how much you know about Edward, but he had a younger brother Charles Albert Richard who was killed in 1917 and is commemorated at Menin Gate. The youngest of Edward's brothers, George, survived WW1 (probably too young to serve) but was ironically killed by a bombing-raid in 1940.

duplicate Cemetery's
Hello nettlyne

I see you have worked very hard on some people for the
Dunnville Riverside Cemetery :Dunnville,Haldimand County,Ontario,
Canada
The actual Cemetery is just called Riverside Cemetery. It is in Dunnville,Haldimand County,Ontario,
Canada
There is a find a grave site already made for this name with photo of the entrance sign.
I know there is not two of them for I live in this area.
Please for give me, I salute you for all the hard work and I am sure you understand it can be hard with duplicate Cemetery's.

William Alexander Wilson
Hi Nettlyne,
You have sent me an edit for William Wilson. I agree with most of it except the birth place. The records I have found in the past used to call Eaglehawk, Nerring (Loddon Shire, Greater Bendigo) not Nerring in the Pyrenees Shire. It has been very confusing and I know many people moved around in those days looking for gold but I tend to think that he may have been born around the Eaglehawk area and not in the Pyrenees Shire. If you google Nerring , county of Bendigo you can find some maps of the area with the surnames of property owners.
I am happy to make the changes but I need you to be aware that there are two 'Nerring's in Victoria
