Find a Grave has been a great resource for freely sharing information among researchers. I am rather concerned that Ancestry.com will figure out a way to screw it all up like they have with RootsWeb. I would like to think that they learned their lesson from all the negative publicity they received in that earlier takeover, but they are so focused on the Almighty Dollar that it's hard to predict -- their corporate greed overwhelms both their common sense and common decency. If they begin to charge or otherwise restrict access (mandatory registration or tracking cookies) in order to view the photos and data that have been freely donated by millions of volunteers, I know that I will immediately delete any of the items that I still have control over.|
You may freely use any of the grave photos which I have taken for any legal purpose. The other items (personal photos, obits and other documents) may have copyright restrictions of which I am unaware, so use your own best judgement on those.

We were happy to do it!

No we did not see her.

We took the pictures today and found Edward and photographed his stone also. Unfortunately, I discovered after I came home that Frances' parents are also there. We did not photograph them but will go back another day.

You're quite welcome...glad I could help a little...take care...
|C. Bryan||RE: Hills - - -|
You're very welcome for all. I looked in the area and there is no other Hills or Hill around there. I also saw that Fred is in a columbarium, but it doesn't say which one. I know that place pretty well; the columbariums go from 'A' to at least 'L' in the mausoleum and there are several places for cremains at other locations - California Gardens is one.
However, it must be as you say and Fred is in a drawer somewhere. Sad, that. Records should show whether Josie's grave was originally a double (others in the area are) and whether it was purchased before Freddie said his good-byes.
If you get some information, I'll be happy to look him up.

Good to hear from you.
Not directly related, my great aunt Eliza Jane Bowen married Alfred Hodge, son of Vincent and Rebecca (Rye) Hodge. I like researching the Hodge line tho, it's a tough line to crack. Eliza and Alfred had 4 known chlidren, and I've only been able to locate one of their child's death records,they're stumping me! Lol. I don't have a clue to what happened to the other 3!
I hope to hear back from you.

Kenneth & Merl Bauer do not show up in the Philipsburg or Valley Cemetery records but the records have a lot of errors & omissions. I will keep my eye out for them when I photograph Philipsburg. More than once we have found burials with large stones which do not appear in the records. Can't imagine how they were missed!

I transferred Helen, Rosella & Kenneth. Helen & Rosela's parents are in Hillcrest Cemetery in Deer Lodge and the memorials were loaded by Rebekah. Rebekah responded to my email when I sent it directly to her hotmail account rather than via a public message on her Find A Grave account. If you would like to manage their memorials you might try contacting her there.
Several of us are attempting to photograph the entire Philipsburg Cemetery so I am not concerned about claiming the photo requests. We have not gotten to blocks 20 or 21 yet. I plan on going down next week to photograph a block and will look for Helen & Rosella if no one beats me to them.
Let me know if there are any other transfers you would like.

Thanks for the edits on the memorials in the Philipsburg Cemetery, MT. If you would like to manage any of them just ask. I loaded the cemetery this winter and am not related to any of them. We are slowly getting the cemetery photographed.

I had hoped to be able to get these photos for you. But, they were ever elusive to me. The ladies in the office were as helpful as they could be, but would not show any of the records to me. Only family members have what access they will allow. Hope you are able to get the records, etc., that you seek when you next visit our fair city.
