I was born in MS and after living in CA for 43 years my husband and I have returned to Florence to live. I became interested in my family history during the early 1990's and while searching for ancesters in old cemeteries I was saddened to see the neglect and damage to beautiful old headstones and monuments. Whenever possible I volunteer at Greenwood, Jackson's oldest cemetery. The iron marker in my bio picture was made by Pearl River Foundrey owned and operated by a family member in the late 1800's. There are two of these markers in Greenwood Cemetery. |
I love complete memorials and I am happy to photograph headstones and post them to help complete memorials on find a grave. I must give credit and many thanks to my husband, Les and sister, Sue for their help with obtaining burial locations.
My Family names: Parker, Richardson, Winterstein, Switzer, Bell/Beall, Bradley, Dorman. My husbands family names: Davenport, Arnold, Davis, and Stinson.

Fran, Thank you for the photos of Wilbur, Willie Rae, and Homer Ray's gravesites. They were so special and I am so happy to have the pictures.

Thank I fixed it. Her parents are not on Find A Grave. So I like to hyper link to grandparents. This way if someone is checking the family tree, it does not end with one generation not listed.
Fran, thank you so much for the photos of the markers for the Bobo's!! I was very excited to see them! Thank you for all of your hard work!!

You requested a link to Oliver's father Elisha Cornelius Parker. The death certificate has his father's name as Enoch. Are you sure Elisha is Oliver's father? Thanks :-)

I did not notice that you did not include all changes in your suggestion. I transferred to you so you will need to update yourself.
