Helping to Add photos and listing to the 14 Cemeteries of Harmon County, Oklahoma...Visit my genealogy located at "Free" site at Rootsweb.com over 187,000 entries. I started genealogy in 1995 before I had a computer, used Family History Center in Bagdad, Arizona where I found friends who loved genealogy as much as I do! Moved back to Delbert's Roots in Oklahoma to retire. I have walked the 14 cemeteries many times making lists to place online, now, walking with my camera... to update ! (On my third camera)
P S: If you notice a big dark blob on the marker, it may be my DNA...SWEAT....got a few drops on some in Wellington, Texas! HA! July 14, 2012

You have the photo of his headstone on there 2 times. Thought maybe you might want to delete one of them.
|Barbzweig||Richard E. Gentry 128778022|
Hello I rcvd your edit request and processed it.
Our Family loves Mt. St Helens and Mr. Gentry has a plaque regarding the pump facility after it blew in 1981. Do you know him? Did he help building that system?
Your family? I'll certainly transfer if you would like.
Thx much :--)

Thank you for adding the markers for Vance & Nina McHam! They were my 2nd great grandparents. I added a couple of pictures to their memorials.
|Janet LaMotte||Pearl Ingle Ables|
She was the first wife of Jonas William (Bill) Ables. She is listed in the obituary for her daughter, C. Lucille Ables Taylor #62353766.
|W B Craig||Thomas J. "John Thomas" Scott, Harmon, OK|
1850, 1870, 1880, and 1900 censuses support his correct name as being Thomas J. Scott. There is reason to believe the "J." was for Jefferson. It appears his children had come to believe their father came from the same place (N. Carolina) as his wife Donie's Haden parents. A NC birth is unsupported by any of the censuses for Thomas, and he was never "John" in any census. In 1836, parents Josiah Scott and Nancy Fullilove had named an older son "John W. Scott".
The errors seem to have originated with family members getting Haden kin confused with their Scott kin during the early 1900's.
Thanks Jeanette for the photo! I appreciate your help with the other memorial as well!

Thank you for adding a photo of my relative Ellen Cassels tombstone. Have wanted to drive over and take a photo, but, never found the time.

I need a big favor. Would you please remove your photo of the grave marker from James Neely's page? A head stone has been placed, and a photo for it has been submitted. Also we would be able to add a family photo of James in the place of yours. Please know we (The Neely family) greatly appreciate your time in taking the photo and posting it. Thank you for everything!
