|I have been doing genealogy for the past 42 years and what I have on my family history is very extensive. I am researching the names: Davis, Clanton, Woodworth, Brant, Mosbarger, Parker, Willey, Thorla, Humfreville (with variant spellings), Williams, Catron (with variant spellings, such as Kettenring), Hytche, Ingram, Alexander.|
I enjoy Find A Grave and have found that the majority of people who are contributors to it are kind, considerate, and very thoughtful, but I have come into contact with some that are not. They have memorials of people who I am related to and they are not, yet they refuse to transfer those memorials to me when I make such a request. This is inconsiderate and unkind. I do not place memorials on Find A Grave of people who I am not related to, but I have transfered some to other's if I find that they are directly descended from that person upon which I do have a memorial.
To the majority of Find A Grave contributors I say, "Continue to be kind and considerate, people appreciate it more than you know."

I am looking for an A.H. Butler that was the Assessor in St. Clair County, Mo. in 1881-1882. Is there any indication that this person was there then?

I will try sending the obit again. Maybe it will print out for you on another message.
Do you know how to copy and paste to Nellie's memorial page under the 'Bio" edit?

Hugh O'Neil Is my 4th G-grandfather through his son, Charles (and his wife, Martha Lowery (Lowrey), also of Wash. Co.). I have done a lot of work but cannot find proof of his (Hugh) wife's name or where he is buried and wonder if you could tell me where you found this info. I would SO appreciate it. Thanks so much. Dixie
