Thank you to all who photograph and post! |
A BIG thank you to the following fellow gravers. They have been polite, helpful, and courteous. The old Southern saying is true, and they have spewed more Honey than Vinegar.
For this, I thank them publicly...

Take just a moment to check for an already existing memorial. Duplicates are a drag for researching, and can/should be prevented.
Please send all corrections and transfer requests through the Edit tab. I will not respond to corrections sent outside this format.
Errors do get linked/posted and are easily corrected when requested with the right attitude. Those who hide behind anonymity; are rude; or send multiple requests will simply be IGNORED and DELETED
There are a variety of forums that allow people to submit histories that a grateful descendant has written to honor their ancestor. I believe that this site is for cemetery registration. While I understand the impetus that many feel to post the records of their families on their memorials, I choose not to do so.

Click on any of the photos I have posted for any additional information I found. Additionally you may use my photos for your own personal genealogy purposes. No credit necessary.
Sponsoring a memorial is an honor, and as such the act should be done so with complete respect to the original contributor.
Flowers are left by me to; notate I have visited a memorial, for research purposes, when I create a memorial, and as a photo volunteer.
Attention Flower and Angel Day Trolls
BEFORE you blubber on.... Take a moment to contemplate the purpose of Find A Grave... quite simply... It is NOT for YOU. It is NOT for your flower fame and glory. It is a cemetery registration site.
Post flowers for purpose, not for count. Don't blab on about what you ate last night, or some art deco watch you bought.
Spending hours in front of a computer leaving daily & weekly multiple flowers is a hobby and has NOTHING to do with honoring any memorial on this site.

Thank you so much for the headstone photos. It makes the memorials look so much nicer doesn't it.
I appreciate your time in doing this for me. Keep up the good work.

Barb, Sorry for the error, I swapped your family link information with another Find A Grave members photo contribution. Maybe if I thaw my fingers out, it won't happen again. Evelynne "Scot_Lady"

Thank you so much for going to Park Hill Cemetery and trying to find the headstone for my relative, Amanda BREMER Simpkins. Thanks so much for all of the extra details you included with the photo of the missing marker. I truly appreciate your time and willingness to help others :o)
|Sandy Gage||John Henry Harrison|
Thank you so much for your time in getting a pciture of John H Harrison's place of burial. In the picture I don't see a headstone so I assuming that he is buried there but has no headstone. Correct?
|Sunny||RE: Thank you!|
I actually went to the cemetery and was unable to find for either of these individuals and am not certain if they have or not. I have not looked at the listing on line, but there is a copy at the cemetery office. I actually have walked the sections on two occasions looking where he graves should be and could not locate them. // Sunny
