Please do not post photos to memorials I create that you copy from obituaries unless you own the rights to these photos.

Please use the Edit tab for change requests. Note I will not make changes that violate F.A.G. rules such copying obits from newspapers, or listing living relatives.

If I've created a memorial for one of your family members or friends, let me know and I will be happy to transfer to you. I don't "own" a cemetery or names or anything like that, LOL. I would appreciate it if you let me know the connection in case we're related, but I'm not going to ask for a DNA test. :)

While I know this is NOT a genealogy site, it must be said I've been digging at my family tree (including twigs) for as long as I can remember. I enjoy helping people with theirs as well. Some of the names I am researching are Man(n)ion, Gaffney, Corcoran, Grady, Masterson, Willet(te), Ouellette, and Guerin.

RE: Leopold Lagasse Ouellette
Hi Doreen:
Thank you for the transfer and the link. I will go to the cemetery to see if I can find a headstone for her. I'll let you know if I find her. The office may have lost track of her record--they have a typed list for older records, not a register or individual cards, like some other places do.
Leopold's brother, George, also married an Ouellette: You probably also know that her step-father was Placide Ouellette.
Best regards,

Leopold Lagasse Ouellette
Hi Doreen:
For Leopold (memorial #124254237), you mention an obituary. Do you have a copy, and are you willing to share that with me via e-mail? She was my great-grandfather's first cousin (sisters Sophie and Victorian Desrosier were their mothers, and both of their fathers were named Joseph Lagasse). I was at the cemetery office yesterday, and they don't have her listed in their records, but I would like to look for her headstone (the cemetery is close to my house).
I checked for her husband, Thomas Ouellette, while I was there as well and there was not a good match in their records, either...
Thank you,

RE: Holy Cross
Doreen, of course it's fine for you put to put the grave on your godmother's memorial page.

RE: Joseph Ouellette
You are welcome, Doreen.
I have wanted to visit the cemetery for a long time to visit some of my people there.
Where Joseph's family are Ouellettes from Ste. Agathe, they might be my people, too!
Thank you for the links--Chris

First, thank you for transferring her to me. I have linked all of the other victims on her memorial.

Do you want me to transfer the memorial back to you? I will be glad to do so.

Thank you again!

You are most welcome, my picture didn't come out that well and I am going over to the cemetery but not when it is in the 80's with full humidity, will take a better pic.

I just posted the picture of the grandparents stone and of their Lot. There's definitely room for more than 2 people there. I'm working on getting a copy of the Lot card to find out if the infant is buried there as well.

I took the picture of her grandparents' grave but I would have to check to see if she is buried in the same Lot without a stone.
