I was born in Missouri and now live in Arizona. I've also lived in New Mexico and Nevada. I'm the 2nd oldest of eleven children born to John and Dorothy Barnby. I'm married and have two children and six grandchildren. |
I've been doing genealogy research since the 1990's. Thanks to all those who have helped me along the way! Especially thanks to my parents who have passed down to me their legacy of family history, stories and memories. There's nothing more valuable to me than that, except for the unconditional love and caring that they gave to me. I decided to contribute to Findagrave because I believe that everyone deserves to be remembered. This is a great site to share with others and preserve family photos and history for future generations!

I was able to get that picture for you today. I had contacted the president of the Cave Spring Cemetery Association and she told me that they are currently trying to recreate the cemetery books. A few years back the lady who took care of them died and her son apparently threw the books away not realizing what they were so they have been lost. She could not tell me anything about the Morgan family. I did take pictures of the Morgan headstones that I did find which were right around Nancy's. Sorry I could not be of more help.
Getting interested in genealogy in my old age. Came across your name. Did not know until recently that your parents had passed. Always intended to get down to see them again. Nick still lives down there. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to contact me. Contacted your brother David last year. Aunt Betty is living in Noel with her son Bruce now. She has Alzheimer's, but sometimes has good days. Still remembered me last time I was there. Her husband and two of her sons have passed. Still remember the good times we had.
Your cousin Ginger.
Linda, I ran across your memorial for Louise Good and decided to write you a note. I too, along with my four sisters, had Mrs. Good as a first grade teacher. My mother, Jewell McConathy, taught third grade at Sunshine while Mrs. Good was still teaching first grade. Since you said in your remembrance of Mrs. Good that your daughter had Mrs. Good in 1977 I wondered if she also had my mother. I looked through your maintained memorials and saw so many people that I remember from Deming; with just a few being John, Martha and Sonny Janecka were our neighbors and Coleen Hodge, wife of Jesse Hodge, worked in the Deming Schools Administration office. I also taught in Deming at Martin and Chaparral Schools. I remember some of the Hubbard family and the Kennedy family. Ike Kennedy worked at Farmers for years. My dad knew him very well. I moved from Deming in 1984 when I married and moved to Sierra Vista, AZ.

Corrections made on Herman Morgan's page. Is he family? Would you like it transferred to you?

Yes, I will be more than happy to look the next time I am there. I'm pretty busy the next month or so during my free time, but I will do what I can to help you as soon as I can.
