I've been on the Maple Hill Cemetery Association Board in Elwood, Illinois since about 1981 and have been president since 1992. The previous president was Lavern Coldwater. I was born October 18, 1947 and have lived my entire life in Elwood, Illinois. I retired from Commonwealth Edison on June 30, 2001 after working at Dresden Nuclear Power Station for 30 years. There are 8 cemetery board members and we have our annual meeting in April. The present board members as of this date, April 21, 2015, are Terry Weidemann (President), Tad Tyler (Vice-President), Rayna Brophy (Treasurer), Sue Sewall (Secretary), Ray Hemphill, Jeff Cromer, and Bob Blum.|

|Mary Pritchard||William R. Morgan was son of Eliza Ann Storrs Morgan|
Hi Terry, I am Ralph McQueen's daughter and have been working on family history of the McQueen and Morgan families. Moses and Elizabeth Ann Storrs Morgan are my great-great grandparents. Please add William Rueben Morgan (1844-1876) as a child. He and wife, Maria Elizabeth Ellenwood Morgan resided on the Moses Morgan homestead, where my grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Morgan McQueen was born. BTW, I was the flower girl in LaVerne Coldwater's wedding. Thank you. Mary E. McQueen Pritchard, Hinckley, IL

Update is completed. Do you know if he served during wartime and what his rank was? I try to make sure veterans get all the recognition they deserve.

|J. Edward Ross||Declined Edit Request|
Terry, I screwed one of your edit requests. I declined it instead of accepting the request. I went to the memorial page and made the appropriate changes per your request.
For some reason I got distracted and thought I read "Silver Cross" in New Lenox instead of the correct death place "St. Joseph" in Joliet.
Anyway, I made the changes you suggested, please disregard the "Declined" e-mail you got for Marilyn Jane Gallup's Edit request.
Have another great day,

GM! I'm trying to get info on Reed's Grove cemetery and I'm hoping you can help. My 4th GGrandmother, Olive Reed Shoemaker Purtee is buried there. When I called the Village of Elwood Friday they said the cemetery was on gov't property (Joliet Arsenal) and didn't think they allowed public access to it. Do you know if that's true? I'm going to Maple Hill today and wanted to stop by there afterward if allowed. Thanks so much for any help you can provide. Stacey

Terry: Thank you for sending the maiden name addition. When the national cemetery transferred the memorial to me, I made the links to Bob and my grandparents, but failed to notice that they had omitted my Aunt's maiden name.
Obit added per your request

Thank you so much for taking and posting the picture for me. Gloria
Thanks for the maiden name update! Can't believe I missed that since I know the family. Much appreciated.
