I love to photograph old graveyards so that families can find their loved ones.My hope is that someone who finds a monument I have photographed will find it meaningful and useful in their genealogical endeavors. Also because the monuments can deteriorate it is important that they be documented and preserved. Look around where you live and see if there are graveyards that need to be documented in your area.

Anyone is welcome to use my photos in any manner they wish as it should be for everyone who posts to FindAGrave. My feeling is if you are going to post a picture do so with the sincerity and respect that is deserved and don't expect people to ask to use a photo of their loved one.

RE: Possible Duplicates
Sometimes when I file there appear 2 entries - have not figured out why - I got mine with a Mc not Mac or other way around - There is a gentleman cleaning up this cemetery and cross checking - No worries - Scottish women are notoriously hard because of the Mc/Mac and they have a married name until they die them revert to maiden - No worries Jo

Possible Duplicates
Are 121743358 and 121092486 duplicates? I got an email around one I had created that cited all 3 as being the same - Can you check please

I checked & this memorial is maintained by Find A Grave. You will need to contact them direct and ask them to transfer to you. They've always been very accommodating. The last email address I had for this was:

RE: Ann Hoover Davis
I have transferred this memorial to you. I sincerely apologize for the delay. My email program had all my Find A Grave messages blocked until yesterday 1-24-16.

She is also my 9th great grandmother which makes us cousins no matter how distant. Would like to compare ancestry. You can e-mail me directly if you like.

Interested in Aitken families
Doing an Aiken's Revolution Project, which includes many spellings.. Stumbled into some you have. I LOVE your attitude about pics! I agree, have run into some grumpy people, nice to find a pleasant one! Much respect for what you have done!

Forsythes at Jedburgh Abbey
I can't thank you enough for your photos of the grave stones of Helen Robson and her husband James Forsythe in the Jedburgh Abbey Cemetery. They are the parents of Christian Forsythe Rutherford. For years I've searched in vain for "Christy's" parents. Seeing the photos of James' and Helen's grave stones gives me the evidence I've been searching for!!!
Your gift to all their descendents is PRICELESS!

Redundant Memorials
Hello Cheryl;

It appears you have posted a few redundant memorials in the Kinross Parish Churchyard, e.g., David Adamson (74946721). Some of them also appear to be duplicates listed in the "Kinross Cemetery." Perhaps a review is appropriate.

RE: Can you link Mary Franklin Wheeler
Hi Cheryl,

No worries, but you can do this yourself. Simply the Edit tab (upper right), click "Relationship (parent and spouse links)", and then paste in the appropriate memorial numbers. The manager of the memorial has 21 days to accept or reject your suggestion. Ater that, it's automatically accepted.

I already did this for Mary, but now you can do it, too. Enjoy!

RE: Thank you so much
As I don't want to reveal my email-address, put the vague photos in a (fake) memorial, which You can delete later.
To Your questions: No.
