We live in Central NH. Our family (and friends) graves are located primarily all over New England and we're trying to locate as many as we can in an effort to complete family history and to honor their respective memories.
We are especially interested in the families whose ancestors were citizens of Durham, Maine. Many thanks to all the contributors who have helped us locate photos and link family members inside the memorials.
That search fostered another into the Kenneson branch of the family, with roots in Aroostook County, Maine. Happily, FAG was the vehicle for meeting a family cousin and fellow contributor, Geno42, who has very generously shared volumes of family history and some delightful photos.
Along the way, whenever we visit a cemetery for any reason, we try to take pictures and add to the memorials in the collective data base.
Cousins maybe? I saw you had a memorial for Clare J. Leoni. She is a descendant of Alessandro Leoni. I believe that Alessandro Leoni may be a possible cousin of my great grandfather, Orlando Leoni. My great grand father was born in 1863 in the small hamlet, Faete, located near Arquata del Tronto, Ascoli Piceno, Italy. I found a picture of Alessandro Leoni attached to a passport on ancestry.com and he definitely has the same facial traits as many of the men in my family. I would love to chat with you and see if we are related. Please feel free to look me up on ancestry also. My username on there is mphazelton81.
Archibald is my 2nd Great Uncle, I have been tracking my Family tree and arrived connected via Archibald's Father "Thomas Charles Gulliver" my 2nd Great Grandfather. I then tracked Archibald across the Atlantic in 1912 from Liverpool. Archibald's brother Ernest was my Great Grandfather his daughter my Grandmother "Esther May Gulliver" she married "James George Phillips" in Wales their child Audrey (my Mother) Married Roy Webb and here I am. I have a tree that includes other members of the English Gulliver family that I can give you access to if you are interested in viewing. It works out that Edward Francis Gulliver Sr is my 1st Cousin 2x removed.
My Family and I now reside near Saint John New Brunswick, Canada. Just North of the border from Maine. It is a amazing how small the world is.
