Bio and Links
Bio Photo we started out about 5-6 years ago to find my Ward grandparents in Missouri, and from there we find geneology and grave searching fun.
We have decided to honor those who have gone before us by photographing an entire cemetery when we can. This has proved interesting and satisfying. Unfortunately some people are not careful about posting duplicate memorials which has made a fun project more difficult. Please check before posting a memorial!

My mistake! ☺
Aha! You DID photograph the other side of Alvin Daily's marker! Thank you!

Marker for Alvin L. Daily
I suspect if the back of this marker were photographed, it would show the other occupant of this grave - Alvin Daily's wife Shirley M. Daily. They were married 52 years. She was interred in 1994; he arrived in 2012.

RE: Fosters buried in Ord
very sad if they're not buried together, after all those years, but maybe too expensive to bring her back to NE, or maybe she loved OR and wanted to buried there, and Fred wanted to be buried in NE, or the children couldn't afford to send Fred back to OR! lots of "maybes"!! pls let me know what you find out!!! k

Fosters buried in Ord
Hi Irv and Marietta!
I've been working on your family. I sent obits for both Fred and Catherine Foster to you last night. We have a small problem though. Fred died in NE and he is buried in Ord in an unmarked grave, next to his parents. If you will please put "First Addition Lot 39" in the Plot Edit.
Also move Edgar and Emiline to Ord Cem., "First Addition Lot 39", as well.
The problem is Catherine! There is no record of her being buried in Ord! So is she buried in OR and Fred's in NE?? Seems odd after more than 50 years of marriage! Was it just logistics and cost to transport the bodies one way or the other? Do you have any resources to find out what happened? As far as I can tell, all 3 children were living in NE in 1934, so why OR for burial?
I have a friend in Ord that does all my "searching" there. I will add photo of Edgar and Emiline's grave after you move them to Ord. She actually saw the burial card for this family plot, no Catherine. :(
I'll let you know if I find out anything else..
:) k

RE: Sweney
You're very welcome. They have a beautiful view there, halfway up the hill and someone had placed a wreath, which was lovely to see. I'm not sure why her portrait went below the grave photo when it clearly was posted as a portrait. That's not supposed to happen.
