I'm Stay At Home Mom to seven wonderful children. I was born and raised in North Carolina, but moved to Central Oklahoma in 2008. Findagrave has been a lifesaver, since all my folks are buried back East. My current project is to re-canvas the Davenport, OK Cemetery, along with my own personal family history and indexing and arbitrating for Family Search. I take volunteer photos when I can. I have loved forging links with my ancestors and feel it a privilege to help others do the same.|
Some of my family lines include Bishop, Ledbetter, Lee, Donaldson, Creswell, Byers, Gayle, Hull, Castleberry, Brewton, Wright, most of whom are from and around North and South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama.
I've recently involved my husband and children in our searching, cleaning of stones and photography. My good friend Sarah has been a great help.
If I've posted a photo of your loved one, feel free to use that photo for genealogical purposes and please give credit to me and to findagrave.

I don't mind at all if you use the picture. I don't consider any of my Findagrave pictures as personal property. I usually tell people that if my picture ends up making them rich and famous, I wouldn't mind a little donation 😊

Thank you so much!

I recently ran across some genealogical information my mother had researched before she died, and was able to find my maternal grandmother's grave that you had entered on Find a Grave. Could you connect my grandmother (Anna Nancy Mahan Booker Richardson # 84295256) to her 1st husband's grave marker # 40673695 (Charles Shaw Booker), so that it connects with the rest of the markers I have created. I also have the obituary for her that I would like to add. How can I make that possible? Thank you so much for getting her onto this website! Sincerely, Sherilyn Porterfield

You are welcome to use any of my photos! I just wish that one was a little better.
I'll check on Ruth from time to time, and will repost if I get a better shot, or if the date of death is added to the stone.
Let me know if I can ever help you out--take care!
