The Woodlawn Cemetery records state this individual is buried in the City Lot. This land is considered a Potters Field and there is a stone marker indicating this. The land is directly south of the office and adjacent to Webster Ave. Less than a dozen markers are visible and most cannot be read, even with a rubbing. Was not able to locate a marker for any of the eighteen (18) requests. Sorry!

Frederick Green Wright
Hi Janet!
I was really surprised to see a photo and bio of my maternal grandfather whom I never got to meet. Only my oldest brother Tim, (deceased 1996) had very few memories of Corporal Wright. I was wondering how you got the info and photo's of Fred and his older brother's Eddie and Anson and their wives Mary and Alice. Ed and Mary belonged to the Native sons and daughters of the Golden West, open only to California born. Ed, Anson and Fred's mother belonged to the society of California pioneer women group (now defunct) that met in a log cabin at Golden gate park. What other interesting things do you know about my Wright, Pell and Cohea ancestor's that I don't know already? Would love to hear from you. Please e-mail me at or leave a message on ancestry California/Santa Clara county boards. I am now a recent transplant to Capitola by the sea. Are you any relation to Mary Connor Wright or Alice Brown Wright, my great aunt's by marriage. I think all of us kids missed out by not ever meeting these people (my brother's Tim and Chris did meet Uncle Eddie a few years before he passed in 1959). Their mother outlived her three sons and died a year after Eddie. I am not working now and not on but if you are, have a look at my Nowak family tree (Cohea's, Pells, and Wrights included).
Hope you had a great Christmas and have a Happy New Year,
Dana E Nowak
