I believe that every time someone passes away, we lose something that can't be replaced.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE researching family history. I enjoy walking in cemeteries, reading stones & figuring out their stories. It's all like a puzzle to me. If I can't figure something out the direct route, I will research alternate routes until I find the information I'm looking for.

I am interested in the following names: Burrell, DeBoer, Dieckman, Eertmoed, Ertmoed, Everwein, Fancher, Freed, Graumann, Hardy, Janssen, LandiVittori, Poe, Rawlings, Rodcay, Rodkey, Tyler, VanMeter, Vittori, Weber, Whitcomb, Whitman.

-I am a host to 5 GenealogyTrails sites.

NOTE: In Tazewell Co IL, Lakeside & Oakgrove are 2 individual cemeteries with no clear disctinction of where Oakgrove begins & Lakeside ends. There is bound to be error & confusion because of this. Just by looking at the 2, you wouldn't know there are 2 different cemeteries. There is no signage, to my knowledge, for Oakgrove.

Henry J. Loughmiller
I noticed that there is a duplicate memorial for Henry. I had made memorials for both him & Elizabeth from information taken from the Washington County Indiana, Jackson Township Cemetery Book showing they are buried in the Rickard Cemetery. You show burial unknown on both of their memorials. I will be glad to delete my memorials if you are sure that they are not buried in the Rickard Cemetery. I want to have all my information as accurate as possible. The memorials I created are Henry #103312110 & Elizabeth #103312143. Thanks for looking into this for me.

Date of death & maiden name.
Hello,

Isabel Williams Johnson #43525418 was my mother's 1st cousin. She actually died in 1970 as is shown on the photo of her grave stone.

Her maiden name was WILLS & her 1st husband was German Eames Williams #39882098, who was completely paralized after being struck by lightening .

If you could you transfer her memorial to me, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Jean #48010254

Marie Taylor Dickson
Marie Katherine (Weber) Taylor Dickson is buried between her first husband Clyde Taylor and her 2nd husband- my grandfather Cecil Delbert Dickson. Cecil Delbert Dickson was born November 15,1906 and passed July 4,1990. I am trying to find Marie's mother Mae/May Weber and the date she passed. She is buried at Lakeside but there is no month or day on her stone. Thank you

Duplicate for Joey Feek
This is a duplicate. A memorial has been made in the cemetery where she will be buried. Please delete your memorial. Thank you.

Ruth Turner (#117038991)
Desiree, I wanted to submit a photo request for Ruth to see if her death date had been inscribed on the headstone yet. Unfortunately, there are already five photos on the memorial, so I cannot submit a request. Could you maybe delete one of the photos of the headstone since there are two of them (one smaller than the other)?

Lillie May Fancher
Lillie May married twice also. I noticed you have her as Lillie May Newman. She divorced Rufus Newman and married Edgar Thomas Butterworth. She is buried as Lillie M Butterworth.
Henry J Loughmiller, who you have as "burial unknown" has a cemetery burial. I believe it's memorial # 103312110.
You have done an incredible job, but you need to look further than you are.
Divorce was very common in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Strangely, more common than today. One of James and Martha Fancher's granddaughter's married at least 4, possibly 5 times.
Since all these memorial appear on Ancestry, and don't update later as we add/change things, any mis-information we add now is always going to be wrong.
Many people don't even look at the memorials, they just add them. In which case, wrong info is added to their trees. IE: Minnie is being documented as dying in 1925, when she actually died in 1948. Nine trees on Ancestry have a wrong death date for her.
Please, there are hundreds of Loughmiller descendants copying our records. Just be more thorough about what you put on the web.

Carol Bush correction
You have a mistake on the grave site of Carol Bush Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown, Indiana. Washington county Indiana records show him as a her. This is a male and not a female. His was one of my line. I was born David Dean Bush. I run a genealogy research called Yesterdays Memories. It is nice to meet others who care about this. Could you please change the listing from female to mail. He shot his self over a girl friend relation that went bad and problems at home. He was only 20 years old and his family found him laying on a country road with a suicide letter in his pocket. Thank you for you help in this matter. David Dean Bush Klakamp
