Brainerd, Brainard and Braynard are 99% interchangeable, though our immigrant ancestor's (Daniel Brainerd 1641-1715) grave marker is spelled Brainerd. See memorial # 47491853. My line through William has always spelled it Brainerd.|

There are markers for Adelia Brainerd (7/23/1879 - 9/3/1943) and Emma L Delaney (1900-1966) near Frank's marker. I have created memorials 151002732 and 151002743. If you want, I can link them.

I transferred Lovina and Asa's memorials to you also.

I made the edits you requested and transferred the memorials to you. The memorial for Lillian wasn't a duplicate, the other one is. The one I added was in 2013 the other was added in 2014

You are very welcome
|Becky Ward||Helena Brainerd|
Thank you so much for the additional information. I have added that to her memorial and my own records. I have been unable to find her father, William Wallace (the name he gave on the 1860 Census). Do you know where he might be buried?
Again - thanks!

The reason I requested a grave stone picture of Isaac Brainerd is that per the Brainard book by Lucy Brainard, it states that he died 24 August 1825 thathe was buried at Randolph VT, another said buried at Lairsville,NY and a third stated he died in Westmoreland,NY while visiting his son Loudon. there for just try to see what is correct. Find a grave #147282134
|Jackie Harris||Amelia Brainerd|
I have transferred Amelia's memorial over to you, her family. I researched the Brainerd family because my Great grandfather Leander F. Harris was a Civil War 15th Engineer under Col. Brainerd. Thank you for the mail message. Sincerely, Jackie Harris

Just a funny note. Sarah drove me crazy. Per her obit she is a daughter of Nicholas Scofil. Per her husband's obit she is a sister of his partner, Levi Scofil. Based upon Jotham's obit she was Levi's cousin, Jotham's niece. Also, since she died first, her husband gave the information for her obit and he would know. When he died his children probably gave the information and sometimes the information gets confused. As I state in my profile, I always verify information provided. I appreciate that you did provide backup. I enjoyed the research. No, I don't think I am related to this branch, even though I do have Brainard, Brainerd's in the family tree. I have Brainard: Alexander, Bernice, Charles, James, Leonard, May, Norman, Paul, Ruth, Sardis and Wilhelmina. I have Brainerd: Bert, Charles, Edythe, Frank, Grace, Grove, Margaret, Marjorie, Mary, Sarah and Warner. All of this side of my family is centered in Oneida County.
I leave you to sort out Sarah :-)
