O'Brien
I have just uploaded a photo for Morgan O'Brien and Elizabeth Casserly O'Brien, St Margaret's of Scotland, Tuam Cemetery, in case you are interested!

RE: PS: re Aurora / Newmarket cemeteries
So nice of you - and greatly appreciated! I'm glad you had such lovely weather too. I've not been to Aurora Cem at all, and was not aware of its topography or size -- thankyou immensely for taking on the challenge. :D

Re Viola, regretfully I only have the indication from the Proctor family tree booklet, that she is interred there, no indication unfortunately of locates. I would imagine you checked the rear face of the gravestone? Or she may be at that spot but not recorded on a marker. Or elsewhere on the grounds. Anything is possible -- Perhaps I can get there someday and try for her myself .....

Hermas and Mary Eliza were the significant couple, though, and your photos have confirmed 3 of their children as well. I'll create memorials for them now, and then request photos. Would you kindly add your pics to those as well, when you have a moment? Thank you _so_ much. =])

RE: St. Margaret of Scotland, Tuam Cemetery
I know Tuam Cemetery - on 2nd Line Tecumseth, yes? (not 3rd, but I may be misremembering :D). Definitely should be listed! and it's great you did that. I didn't know it had an official name - just what I had seen on the sign from the road about 2 years ago.

Have more to say, but will send you a private message via Edit on one of your memorials. We are certainly both interested in the same 'neighbourhood' in Simcoe! =])

PS: re Aurora / Newmarket cemeteries
I've also entered 3 Requests in Aurora Cem, but found I didn't have any in Newmarket after all. I know there is _someone_ interred there, but perhaps I haven't yet been able to determine _which_ of the various burying grounds he's in. Therefore no memorial (yet).

Would you consider visiting Schomberg perhaps? I have several entries in the Union Cem. I used to live in Barrie, and have cousins who live on Third Line West Gwillimbury, hence was able to get to that area myself more frequently. Now that I'm in Hamilton, it's that much farther of course.

If there are any individuals in the Wentworth County area you'd like to find, I would be pleased to try and return any favours.

All the best,
=]) Beth

re: Minden Village Cemetery Photo Requests
There, I fixed the mileage anomaly - I removed the older requests and placed new ones. Now the mileage is indicated as being the same distance as the other 3 from someone else. Plus I discovered I had missed a person, so now I have 5 requests there.

Again, I do thank you so much for considering the visit to Minden Cemetery, whenever you are able to do so. =])

PS: Apologies for the message duplication this morning -- darnned white screen! You can delete one if you like (or both, or all :D).

All the best,

PS: re Aurora / Newmarket cemeteries
If you are willing, and have time at any point, I have a few entries in these two cem's for which pictures would be particularly welcome. Mostly Proctor's, although I believe there are others as well. I'll enter Requests for them shortly (if not already).

Thanks so much!!

re: Minden Village Cemetery Photo Requests
You wrote: "Sep 07, 2012 - General problem: Other: Four listings for Lewis at Minden Village Cemetery show Minden as 5,702 miles away. Two requests for other graves list the same cemetery as 74 miles away from me. The latter is about right. Would the poster please verify if this is the correct Minden Village Cemetery? There are several Mindens around the world."

Thanks for this. As far as I know, these Lewises are in the Minden Cemetery which is in the Haliburton Highlands of Ontario. The problem might be that there is no map on the MVC mainpage, also that my requests were posted a year ago, using the 'workaround', and _long before_ the "official" photo request process was implemented. Now that Find A Grave makes direct Canadian requests possible, the mileage count is probably more accurate than with the 'workaround'.

So, if you're going up that way at any time, and planning to visit MVC to take photos, that would be lovely! Thank you so much!!

RE: Jim & Elsie Taylor
Super job, I love the photos! What a beautiful place, it looks like a fairly big cemetery and only 9 listed so far. I think I'll put Jeremiah & Eleanor D. on and request the photos, they're not suppose to be added unless they are deceased, but I don't know about that. I'm guessing Isa is alive though. Too bad for me that you never went to Lindsay & Minden, I have a lot of requests for there! I wish everybody loved doing this as much as I do, I think Find A Grave is better than apple pie! :)

RE: Jim & Elsie Taylor
It looks like a beautiful place, I'm glad you picked there for your anniversery! When I saw you were from the Toronto area I was wondering how far away this little place was, I'm very lucky you found my request! I'm wondering if the Taylors with only one date might not be deceased? I was happy to see the two sons, Isa may still be living. Those are great photos, I'll just use the ones you posted. I'll add the others and request the photos tomorrow. Thanks again for all your help! Luella

Jim & Elsie Taylor
Thank you SO MUCH for the photos!!! They also had 3 sons, Philip, Francis and Keith. It looks like two of the sons are buried beside them, would you want to add them to the cemetery and I will put in a photo request for them? This is just wonderful to be able to see where these family members final resting place is. Did you add a photo for the cemetery? I forgot to look I was so excited about this! Thanks again! Luella
