I have been interested in cemeteries since I was young. My interest started by going with our neighbor's grandfather who was caretaker of our local cemetery. We would ride to the cemetery on his tractor. I enjoyed walking around reading the gravestones. Now I know that there is more. Each cemetery has it's own history and beauty. They all tell a story. By adding memories and pictures, I hope to share this history and beauty. I am a cemetery walker.|
"A cemetery is a history of people - a perpetual record of yesterday and sanctuary of peace and quiet today. A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving & remembering always." Unknown

|Katherine (Kathi) White||Re: Dykstra in Lancaster Rural Cem.|
Thank you for Catherine Dyktra's maiden name. It now makes sense why she is in the Richardson plot. I'll be adding at least a dozen more Dykstra memorials once I'm done photographing them all (they are in several different sections of the cemetery). If you'd like to put in photo requests for John (115486365) & his wife Catherine (115486469) I'll upload them first.

I'm guessing you may have a personal interest in this family based on your contributions to the surname and maintain a virtual cemetery for them.
I am currently transcribing, photo-documenting, and adding all Dykstra's (and related family members) to Lancaster Rural Cemetery.
Let me know if I can help. The name is quite prominent in the cemetery and there are dozens to add. The Dykstra's emigrated from Ternaard, Friesland, Netherlands in 1849 so far as I can tell.

My name is Traci Herrera, Henery Tinsley is my grandfather brother. We called Henery Uncle Parker. If I may I would like to have his and Auntie Velma Tinsley Memorial. If that's alright with you..
Thank you so much for the close up, of the tall tombstone. It looks as if it is only a tombstone for Maria. Is there a stone for her husband Azel?
