Daisy and Fannie Gove Photo Request
I went to the Nahant Town Hall to check for a burial location for Daisy and Fannie. I was told they have a record of them being buried but the records do not indicate a location. They assume the girls are buried with the parents. Their names do not appear on the parents' stone.

Goves
I am extremely proud of my Gove lineage.... .truth is that I found out all so innocently that a dear friend of mine was/is descended from the very person that saved John and Edward Gove. Richard Montague the 3rd Earl Sandwich, I believe was his name.

yes, I need help to get Catherine Gove's photo right side up. It shows upright in my photos no matter what. I tried to copy the photo to flip it but it shows as if flipped on my photos? I would love some help. Thank you.

This is another lady who was lost on the same ship as Elsie. You might use it as example for a nice memorial for Elsie?

RE: A bit more on Elsie
Never have heard of this story, so probably only in historical type books?

The Oregonian - Portland OR 24 Jul 1907 - Newberg Nurse is Missing - Elsie May Stone had not been home for two years - Newberg, Or., July 23. Miss Elsie May Stone, whose name is given in the list of missing, among the ill-fated passengers of the steamship Columbia, is a daughter of J. M. Stone, of Newberg. She is a trained nurse and has not been home for two years. She was on her way from San Francisco to Portland, where she was expected to nurse one of her brothers, who was going from here to a Portland hospital to take treatment.
