Please Stay In Touch|
If you happen to leave earth before me
And journey to Heaven above
Please stay in touch
And find a way
To reveal the pure colors of love
Show me what makes God happy
Ways He is glorified
For it appears the world has turned it's back on God
And Love it seems has died
Tell me how it feels
To be surrounded by Angels
In that place we call Paradise
Where life, peace, and joy are eternal
Because Jesus paid the ultimate price
And if there's anything I can do
While there's still time
To warm the heart of Jesus
Giver of sight to the blind
As you now must know
The mess the world is in
Corruption swiftly escalates
God is mocked by rulers
Wallowing in unimaginable sin
I need Divine intervention
And guidance so very much
To carry on amid a society caged by ignorance
So I pray you will stay in touch

I was born in 1946 in the small riverside village of Farran's Point, Ontario,Canada located along the St. Lawrence River in the County of Stormont. In 1958 nine villages (including Farran's Point) were permanently flooded (St. Lawrence Seaway Power Project)and residents of those villages were relocated to the new communities of Long Sault and Ingleside.
FAG is a great site. I am thrilled to have found it.
I've been researching the history of my family as well as other families for 20 years.
If you find a Memorial of a relative of yours that was added by me and would like me to transfer it to you, I would be happy to.
I am mostly interested in the following surnames: Donnelly, Hamilton, Steip, Bane, Green, Thompson, Sheets, Heath, Menard, Hodgens, McCarey aka: McCary, Bush, Perry,Hawn, Cook, Rutley, Jarvis, Henophy, Renwick, Piche, Burns, Warner, Hartle, MacMaster, Locey, Artindale, King, Ryan, Cunningham, Kelly,Tomkiel, and families who once lived in the 9 villages that were flooded in 1958.Happy Hunting-Joan

|LShue||edit suggestion for John Irvin Mays|
You made a suggestion to add Lena Christina Schools Mays to John Irvin Mays memorial page as his spouse. Is John Irvin Mays related to you? Would you like me to transfer management of his page to you if he is? Is Lena Christina Schools Mays somewhere on Find A Grave that I can directly link her to John?

|Gail Warner-Metzlaff||quest for Margaret Haggarty Warner|
Took a good look at the notes I have on the Haggarty family. I remember being intrigued by Margaret and then I remembered 'Maggie'. Margaret Haggarty was in the census records with her parents till 1891. Her parents are named on her marriage record so the family is easily found.
In the 1901 Toronto census record Margaret becomes Maggie Haggarty, born 12 May 1873 (which jibes with her age at marriage in 1907), living as a boarder with her married sister May Haggarty Johnson, and her younger sister Jessie Haggarty born 19 Mar. 1876.
1911 Toronto Census record has Maggie Warner age 38, born May 1873, married, and living (or visiting) with her married sister May Haggarty Johnson and family, and sister Jessie Haggarty age 35.
So, Pte. F.E. Warner's wife Margaret was born 12 May 1873. Haven't found a 1921 census record for her or a remarriage yet.
|Gail Warner-Metzlaff||Mary M. Warner|
Hi Joan: Nope, I think you did good - the Mary M. Warner on the gravestone with Pte. F.E. Warner would be his sister - same birth date as her birth record, 2 Oct. 1882 (Mary Mersella Warner). Wife Margaret Warner was listed as his next of kin on military docs, but you're right, not much more info on Margaret.
Nice to make a connection with you. I was wondering if you are able to transfer my grandpa's record over to me?
My grandma's maiden name was Sheets, happy to help you with what you are looking for!
