If thou didst ever hold me in thy heart, absent thee from felicity a while, and in this harsh world draw thy breath in pain to tell my story. - William Shakespeare, Hamlet|
mortul vivos docent: the living learn from the dead
"There be of them, that have left a name behind them, that their praises might be reported...And some there be, which have no memorial; who are perished, as though they had never been; and are become as though they had never been born; and their children after them." -- Apocrypha: Sirach Chapter 44 (aka Ecclesiaticus), 2nd century B.C.
Every soul's story deserves to be remembered by as many people as possible for as long as possible, whether a life story or a mere scrap of information about what they looked like or who they loved. As long as someone remembers the departed, they are still "alive."

Thanks for alerting me to the duplicate memorials for Mary Lee Nelson. I've contacted the individual who posted the grave photo asking that they transfer it to the proper memorial. Once this is done I will delete that duplicate. Thanks SO much for the heads up!

That's so funny! I've done the same thing, getting tired of waiting and hitting the enter key again! Have a blessed week!
