Bio Photo My Find-a-Grave activity is only moderately curtailed by that essential 'nuisance' of "having to earn a living". I generally respond to queries, SACs and requests as soon as I can get a round tuit. Sincere apologies for all delays, and thank you for your patience. =]) Beth

A proud Canadian, I live in the Province of Ontario :D Locations of interest include all of Simcoe County (which is about an hour north of Toronto), plus Ancaster (west Hamilton) and the (former) County of Wentworth, which are due west of Toronto.

Copyright courtesy requested! If you wish to use a photo that I have uploaded to a memorial here on Find-a-Grave, and post it to another website 'as yours', KINDLY ASK ME FIRST. In general, I don't mind if anyone uses my photos for their personal records, and I would hope my name would be included for the source file. But please, if you're going to post them to a FEE-BASED/SUBSCRIPTION website (including Ancestry, which as we all know ultimately profits from _everything_ contributed to their site), it would be nice if credit to the photographer (me) could be given within the posting. I don't know if other sites make this possible, but something such as: "Photograph taken by OhSunnyOne, Ancaster, Ont" would be appreciated.
Thank you for this consideration.

"If we don't grab this data, it's gone. Stones are face down, fallen over. Some that we can read now, we won't be able to read later. Counties just don't have the resources to restore every cemetery." --

Name suggestion
When I created the memorial, I ask an admin for guidance on how to name it. I was told to put both words in the First Name field so your edit was declined.

Again Beth, thank you so much. I loved how you signed off, with all the different places you've lived and will live. :-)

Thanks for contacting me. I appreciate that. Hope
you're getting moved okay. Well, I did my part, and
moved those 4 people to St. Peters. Now it's your turn to delete yours. Thanks again

Hi, Sorry I got the cemetery name wrong for the duplicate Cemetery. It is Union Burial Ground Hamilton rather than Old Union Cemetery. Sorry for the confusion. Duplicated for Saint Peters Cemetery Hamilton Ontario. Thanks, Elaine

Hi,
David Kern Sr. who is posted by you (#104373129) in Barton Union Cemetery (St Peters) Hamilton Ontario is already on Find a Grave with photo of gravestone. He is #50180316 in Old Union Cemetery Hamilton Ont......
His wife Catharine Wise posted by you in Barton Union Cem (St. Peter's) is also already on Find a Grave as Catharine Weise Kern with photo of gravestone. She is #50180339 in Old Union Cemetery, Hamilton Ontario.
Old Union and Barton Union (St. Peters) cemeteries are duplicated on Find a grave. Could you notify someone at Find A Grave to sort this out perhaps? Barton Union Cemetery is merged with St. Peters so that is good but it is duplicated as Old Union Cemetery. The David Kern family is duplicated and perhaps others as well. Hope this is helpful. Thank you, Elaine

RE: Re: William Seagram Mt Royal
You're welcome.

The Seagram memorials I contacted you about were created by you, but they are at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges, not at Mount Royal. I have added the photos in response to your photo request. It is a little confusing since you do have Seagrams at Mount Royal also.

I wish you all the best with your upcoming move to BC. A wonderful new adventure.
