Bio and Links
Bio Photo As a lot of requestors know, the Holy Cross cemetery has their data base containing the location of all of the 350,000 deceased buried there .... this data base is available online to all of us (

I've sensed that requests stand a quicker chance of being claimed by volunteers if the burial locations are included with the requests. Here are the steps to get those locations (for Holy Cross, Colma):

go to
click on "San Mateo County"
click on "Cemeteries"
click on "Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Colma"
click on "Online data base"

(BTW, the locations available are from 1887 through 2004; the 2005+ sites have not yet been converted.)

==== Recurring questions ====
Why can't some requestors understand that the absence of a name on a headstone does not mean that the person is not interred there!

Do any requestors ever complain about the "volunteers" that claim requests but don't fulfill their commitments within the 14 days that FAG allows to take the photos ... thus sending the requests back to an OPEN status?

Marie Desrosiers Duguay
Hi, :)

I think we might be related by marriage. My paternal grandmother was a Henry, and her mother married another Raoul Duguay, her first marriage. I'm trying to figure out where the exact connection would be. I saw that you asked for a transfer for Marie and that you added the other memorials with photographs of Marie and her husband William and children. The pictures I posted for Marie and family came from a binder of info I had photo copied on the Duguay family that was given to MY father by his maternal grandmother, Lauri Ann Duguay (last name, again, by marriage to Raoul J. Duguay 1917-1997)

Do these names ring a bell?
