Bio Photo If I manage a memorial for one of your relatives and you'd prefer to manage it yourself, let me know and I'll gladly transfer to you. The only ones I won't transfer are my direct relatives. I am not a "stickler" for the guidelines as they are only guidelines. It is not my intention to aquire large numbers of memorials.

If you're requesting a transfer or adding information to a memorial, please use the EDIT tab on the memorial to send me the request information. It makes it much easier to find which memorial you're talking about. Thank you.

NOTE - EDIT REQUESTS: If you ask me to include information on a memorial, please explain your sources. I've had so many people ask me to add information that was actually in error, and I'd prefer not to spread misinformation if at all possible. I spend so much time going back to fix error's made by the new "EDIT SYSTEM" (which I am not a fan of). If you have your messages disabled...and your email not available,.....DO NOT leave me an edit request. If I cannot contact you to verify sources, your edit will be declined.
Thanks for understanding...!!!

NOTICE--DO NOT POST OBITUARY PHOTOS IN ANY MEMORIAL I HAVE MADE...THANK YOU

The photo of Cruz's headstone has been posted. We aren't sure if his location is 5 or 7 but will find out when there is someone in the cemetery office.

Picture for Martha Smith
Thank you for providing the picture for Martha Smith's headstone so quickly. Unfortunately this isn't my relative's mother, but it is nice to be able to confirm it for certain. Thank you also for providing reference for the headstones found around Martha's.

RE: FAG 129148593 - Katie Pottinger
Oh thank you, she was and was so young with tragedy in her life. Her sister Etta Knowels Kirkpatrick, married to Krum is buried ther too. As well as Storey and Anna Mae Pottinger, Fatie's brother-in-law. Etta was also a beautiful woman and the librarian in Hillsboro for many years. I have a wonderful picture of the two of them on horseback, one of my favorites.
My husband and I were just in TX a few weeks ago...rain, rain and more rain! Good luck with your endeavors...and thank you so much for the work you are doing on behalf of our dearly beloved.

Regards,

RE: FAG 129148593 - Katie Pottinger
Fatie Knowels Pottinger is my grandmother. I have always heard her referred to as Fatie which I am assuming is perhaps a spell check mistake. I believe on her grave her name is actually Fatie Pottinger. She is buried in Ridge Park Cemetey in Hillsboro, TX. But was born in Chilton, TX and married my grandfather William Fredrick Pottinger. Her sister and brother in law are also buried in Hillsboro, Krum and Etta Kirkpatrick along with William Fredricks younger brother Storey Douglas Pottinger and his wife Anna Mae. My grandfathers brother George Dallas Pottinger and his wife Mamie raised my dad and his two brothers as well as me. My source is from different papers and conversation I was a part of growing up in Lott, Texas. Just was searching grave finder and knew Fatie and Bill/WF were buried in Hillsboro.
Thanks for the work you are doing,
Mary Kathleen Pottinger Smiley

Thanks so much for the transfer and for you condolences. I am very glad it was you that posted her memorial. Since she is a 1st cousin she falls outside the transfer guidelines and not everyone is as generous as you. We do appreciate it.

Rita
