Old Waco,

Thanks so much for the photo. I had heard his home was still there.

Will be working into article about what you sent. I have did some more up dates on her memorial. I been looking to see if any old records of her going to school and maybe graduated from college. It shows Mary-Hardin was the that girls went to back then.
Thinks Carl e-mail me and will send my write up when finished maybe next week or the next.
Thanks Carl

Thank you and it was just great of you to post the photo of Grandma Annie Franklin's headstone and to being my attention to an err4oneous assumption! I really do appreciate it, and anyone should feel most fortunate that someone cared to correct it.

I'm going to get some assistance in working my way through the Franklin clan. I'm getting in contact with some of my Franklin cousins.

Kind Regards,

Good Morning - I don't know how I missed Homer til now. What do you know about him if anything? I'm looking for a child of Hugh Samuel and Martha Jane Franklin and his name starts with an "H".

I found Grandpa Franklin's Mother but only after he retrieved her and she was living with him and his family. Unbelievably, there was a divorce! This was quite a shock, but I do recall some talk of his going to get her and two sisters. The father kept the two sisters against the Mothers's will.

Granpa Franklin's Mother remarried a Williams Burton in Virginia where she had previously lived. Information about Grandpa F is hard to find; he did descend however from Benjamin Franklin. I really need to go through some trunks but time is a huge factor when running a business and keeping a 92 year old Mother!

I would like to investigate Homer. Thank you.

Thanks for the input about her. How luck to have came across this info. I'm showing the family in McLennan Co. on 1880 census an Luella age 16. To author a book in 1879 she must of been a smart girl. I also saw on one Census the she taught music an gave Piano lessons. Any Info. welcomed.
Thanks Carl
