I currently live in Brenham, TX. I have ties in the Lubbock area, where I am more or less "from". My family tree extends to many parts of Texas and the US South. My ancestry is predominantly English.|
Join us in the Facebook group West Texas FindAGrave where you can participatie in sharing interesting memorials, articles, and information. You don't have to live in West Texas to join, it's rather evolved since its inception - we talk about all of Texas, as well as surrounding states.
CORRECTIONS & TRANSFERS
Please click the "Edit" tab on the individual memorial, then use the fields available to request changes, or to ask for a transfer.
If you are asking for a TRANSFER, please state briefly your relationship to the deceased in the request. I am not terribly particular on how closely you are related, be it directly, distantly, or as a family friend -- I am happy to transfer to anyone who has more knowledge of the person and is willing to maintain the memorial.
I am also willing to transfer any memorials that I maintain that were originally created by a member who is now inactive/banned/etc. (I usually only have these because they needed major maintenance before the new edit system was put in place).
PLEASE DO NOT SEND CORRECTIONS OR TRANSFER REQUESTS THROUGH DIRECT EMAILS OR PUBLIC MESSAGES

Thank you very much for searching the Barksdale Cemetery for the Blalacks. I am pleased and grateful for the photo of J.R. Blalack’s headstone. While I am disappointed that you were unable to find headstones for J.C. and J.A. Blalack, I am not surprised. It seems that most of the family did not receive headstones and many of the temporary markers have long since disappeared.

Thanks so much for taking/posting the photo of the marker for R. A. Grant. I really appreciate you traveling all the way to Barksdale, a true "You can't get there from here" destination. I also appreciate that you posted the Cromeans markers photos.
One last question; may I use the photos in my family tree on Ancestry?
