My home town is Westport, Co Mayo, Ireland.|
I joined FAG while researching my Ancestors who emigrated to Chicago.
I have realised my dream - travelled to Chicago and visited 3 of the graveyards where my Ancestors are buried.
Most of my Memorials/Cemeteries are in Ireland. If you find a relative and wish to add/change information,please feel free to contact me.
Most of my Memorials have Graveshots. I flower all my Memorials and link them with relative's. Ones that may not have Graveshots are my own relatives where I have not located their resting spot, although I know the Cemetery.
I am happy to transfer Memorials to Family Members, however my photographs are copyright and I would like to be notified should anyone require a copy of same.
Thank You to Jim and Tammy who have helped me find the resting place of my Lavelle Family in NY.
In the early part of 2012 I set up the Mayo Genealogy Group in Castlebar, we have monthly meetings in the National Museum of Country Life, Turlough.
We have set up a Facebook Page, if you would like to join and post queries about your Mayo Ancestors check out our page.

|Joseph Olshefski||RE: Stanley L Czerwinski|
No need to remove flowers, was very nice, my father was a WW2 Battle of the Bulge veteran and had clipping of his cousin I found after he passed away. I have researched Stanley Czerwinski and found out a lot about his war record, I would have loved to have shared with my Dad. Although I never knew him, it seems he meant a lot to my Dad So I figure the least I can do for my 2nd cousin, is make sure he is remembered.

I am curious, you left flowers for Stanley L Czerwinski, were you related in anyway, he was a couisn of my father?

|Vivian Hazel Adzaku||Margaret Hazel|
I just lost a big long message so let me try again! I am a granddaughter to Margaret Hazel, from her son William John Hazel. I am trying to find out about her as I do family history research.....I have a great deal on my grandfather, John Hazel, but little on Margaret...I know she was born in County Antrim, Ireland, immigrated as a teen (I believe) and married in 1885 or 1886 in Fowlerville, NY to John Hazel. I know when and where all her 7 children were born and diesd But I know very little about her, especially about before she arrived in the US., and I don't even know when she arrived, on what ship, etc.
If anyone reading this is related to Margaret and can give me more information about her, please contact me...my name is Vivian ,....through this page.
|Janedare||Ellen and Michael Joyce|
Hello. . . . Thank You for this connection(#68409506). I believe this Ellen and Michael Joyce could be my great grandparents. My grandmother was Sarah Joyce who emigrated 1913 to Philadelphia and settled in Pittsburgh PA. She married Michael Regan in 1916 and died February 25,1920. I know she had a sister, Ellen, who is buried with her in St Mary's Cemetery in Pittsburgh. I am trying to identify from which Joyce Family my grandmother descends. Have tentatively ID'd the Joyces in 1901 & 1911 Censuses from Mayo/Owenbrin/Kilbride. If anyone relates to these people, please contact. Again, thanks.

I'm so sorry about that. Don't ever get old! I'll contact her.
|Brad Melton||Gretchen Urdang|
You created her Memorial #9565935 and it doesn't have a place. I believe her remains were cremated. I just created her Mother's Memorial here in Branson, Missouri. The two of them were very close. If you would like to move Gretchen to be close to her Mother, that would be kind and thoughtful of you. I knew both of them.
|Brenda Hare||RE: Re Myrl Page|
Thank you. I was hoping just for a quick response from them, but I'm sure they do get a lot of emails.
Thank you so very much.
