Have researched my family lines since I was 11, just for the pure fun of it and to learn where I came from

Wendell family of upstate New York. Gould's and Haner's of Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Clark's and Berrian's from around Peoria County, Illinois.
Wells family from Maryland, through Kentucky, to Illinois

Hahn, Bollinger, Croan, DeMott families of Missouri and Kansas.

Thain, Dittmar and Hammer in Illinois.

Talbert in DeSoto and Caddo Parish, Louisiana
Lambeth in Louisiana and Texas

Sidney of Pennsylvania

If someone is of your family feel free to contact me to transfer them to you. I feel families should have access to their family, unlike some who are just interested in the number of memorials they maintain and are so within themselves which destroys the purpose of this sharing information....

Mary C. America Maus Parker
Hi,

I am a photo volunteer that takes pics in Glenwood for F-A-G.

I noticed that you created the memorial Mary Parker and her husband.

You had some question about her children being interred in the lot with her.

All of Glenwood's burial records are online. The link to the Plat Book page that you need is: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1961-38519-19872-12?cc=2170640&wc=MNY4-SPF:1041048401

If you go one page back in the records, you will find the Maus family lot.

I am also investigating this family but from the other direction. Link to her granddaughter's page is: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=146929742

I am still searching for Cora F. Parker's burial as she is the link to my memorials and yours.

Anyway, I thought you might be interested.

Take care and happy hunting!

Mary Beth Eagen
Sorry to get back to you so late. I am not myself related to Mary Beth. She is my husbands aunt. I did a small amount of genealogy research for her at one time but that is the extent of my connection with her family. My mother-in-law is her only surviving sibling. Mary Beth does have a daughter and a son.

RE: Anna Brooke # 83217860
Hi Charlott,

My understanding is that Anna Maria Brooke is the daughter of John Mercer Brooke and his first wife, Mary Elizabeth. As you wrote, John Mercer Brooke then married Kate Corbin in 1871, and that marriage produced more children.

My only interest is in getting the facts correct, and I'm always happy to make corrections. This memorial seems to be in debate, as I have twice been sent links to connect Anna to Kate Corbin. If I could locate the first wife, it would make the facts more clear. Actually I will be in Lexington tomorrow, and perhaps I can locate Mary Elizabeth then.

Thanks,

Eddie

I am trying to reconcile cemeteries in Parker County, TX and ran across this one which is unfamiliar to me and to long-time Millsap residents. Could you please let me know the location of the cemetery, any existing tombstones, and the caretaker.

I appreciate your assistance.

Regards,

Bill Warren

Ancestors
Hello Charlott,

I had clicked on my 9 times great grandfather, John James Lee of Virginia (died 1770) and I see he is your relative as well. I clicked on yur name and the other interesting fact is that you said you were searching for family in Peoria, IL. That is where I grew up, and although I married and left over 40 years ago, I still go back as I have family there, too.

John James Lee's daughter, Deborah is my 8 times great grandmother. She married John Hodges. How are you related to John James Lee? I am on ancestry.com. Are you?

Hi-what is your source for him being born in 1757 rather than what is listed in the Chapman family genealogy book? Thanks! Irma
