I'm twenty-three-years-old and live in Ohio.|
I've been interested in genealogy since I was a young kid. According to my mom, whenever they would get the newspaper, the only thing I wanted to read was the obituaries!
Currently I am focusing on photographing Fountain Cemetery in Fostoria, Hancock County, Ohio.
If anyone I've added is related to you, but not me, I'll gladly transfer their memorials to you if you ask. I find it to be so rewarding getting a message from someone asking me if I will do a transfer as they are related to someone I added. Being able to say I've helped someone find their loved one--as I added them on here, is why I do what I do.
If you would like to use any of the photographs that I have added on FindAGrave, please ask for permission before taking and using on other websites. Thank you!
When I first joined FAG almost eight years ago it was to find distant relatives--and I succeeded and in the process added many other relatives. That is why I take pictures of cemeteries & post the information on the graves, in hopes that one of the deceased's family members finds the memorial and wants to manage & add to it.
If you would like a family member's memorial transferred to you, please send it via the Correction tab instead of in a message. Thank you!
Listed below are the families that I research and the areas that they are from. Below that, I have listed my deceased grandparents. Feel free to leave a flower. Thanks!

|Julie Myers Stephen||Ruch Family|
Julie, wanted to let you know that the Frank Ruch who is buried in Arizona is not the right Frank Ruch. Your Frank Ruch was born May 1,1896 and died June 10,1949 in New York. Brenda has a copy of the family Bible. Trying to find burial records of Frank in New York. Will let you know if I find anything

THANKS! That was a big help. I also appreciate your prompt response. At the risk of repeating what you already know, here is what I have: My 4th great grandmother, Nancy Adeline AYERS married Jacob JOHNSON, JR in 1808. They had three children: Matilda (1810-1885); Susannah (1812 - 1854); and Madison (1813-1899). She married Hiram Harrison DEAN on 17 June 1816 in Patrick County, VA. Evidently, Hiram adopted Madison and Madison took his surname. Nancy and Hiram had children: Louisa DEAN (1816-1915); Jameson Dickson (1817-1904); Elkanah Harrison (1818-1888); Abner Jones (1822-1905); Nancy Adeline (1825-1880); Henry Harrison (1827-1898); Susannah (1833-1934).
Nancy was born 30 Jan 1790 in Carroll County, VA and died 29 Mar 1865 in Pipers Gap, Carroll County, VA.
|Bill Rosebrough||Madison Johnson Dean|
Madison Johnson Dean is my 3rd great grandfather. His Find A Grave Memorial# 23625371 lists his father as Jacob Johnson. Do you know any more about Jacob Johnson - who was his father, where was he born etc.
It is my understanding that Jacob died at an early age and that Nancy Ayers then married HH Dean who adopted Madison. I have lots of info on Nancy but not much on Jacob Johnson = a dead end for my research.

|MaryK||Photo requests for St. Pats, Bay City|
I was unable to fill these requests because the office lady is very unhelpful about locating graves. She hates a list so I have found it easiest for the individual who is requesting the photo to find out the location. I have an index of existing tombstones that some nice ladies did for the Bay County GENWEB but that's for the old St. Pats where most burials are from the early 1900s. Sorry!

Even his daughter,my friend,has absolutely no idea whatever became of him. Her parents divorced when she was young and she never saw him again. Anything you can find would be awesome.

I am not sure of his middle name. I do know that Howard married Lucile Van Slyck in 1931 and that they had 4 children.One died as an infant, one passed away in 2003, the other two are still alive.
