Edit
Jay,
Realized I had made a duplicate St Mary's Montgomery,Orange County,N.Y. on Michael J Fitzgerald
Memorial #93108503. I have additional edits I have submitted and added the grave photo. If you would be so kind to review the edits,I will go ahead and remove my entry. Thanks. I usually do a search before I make an entry....was not so good this time.

Elizabeth Hasbrook, Shear #76270772
When I found your memorial I was sure I found who I was looking for. But after I looked at the stone I have questions.
Do you know if this is actually Elizabeth Swartout, daughter of Rudolphus Swartwout (early spelling Swartoud) and Geradina 'Diana' Brinckerhoff?
Elizabeth Swartout was born December 04, 1752 and died November 11, 1841. She first married Francis Hasbrook # 115163180 and second married Abraham Shear # 132971372. Some of her children are buried with their father in Pilgrim's Rest and others are buried in Fishkill.
I am sure this has to be her, but the stone is confusing. They must have meant daughter of Rudolphus Swartout, not Rudolphus Hasbrook.
Pleas let me know what you think.
Thank you for all your wonderful postings.

Horace Belknap
Horace Belknap is not buried in the Bechtol Cemetery. He is buried in the Stewart Cemetery which is not far from the Bechtol Cemetery. I transcribed the markers in both cemeteries and also photographed the memorial for Horace. See 132775813

I finally did locate the cemetery, but Evergreen will not give me the grave location because they wanted $24 for 1/2 hour of research, minimum. However, I did his memorial and would be willing to transfer to you if you wanted. I did some of the family too and they were quite successful, and his brother was a Civil War hero.

Duplicates in the Dutch Churchyard Fishkill, Dutchess County, NY
Hi there - recently a nice Findagrave volunteer took several headstone photos out at the Dutch Churchyard in Fishkill, NY and we noticed that there were several duplicate memorials up in that cemetery. Several (but not all) of the memorials that you added in Sept. 2011 were duplicates for memorials added prior to that. I tried to find some of them for you so you could delete these. You have several others up in that cemetery that aren't duplicates, though, so I guess the best way for you to do this would be to go to each of these listed and delete these. I've only checked for names that I'm related to, so if you want to check for others, you may want to do that. Here are the duplicates I found:

William Edward Rapalje 76417654
Abraham Philllips - 76417647
Caroline Phillips 76417646
Cynthia Phillips 76417644
Daniel Phillips 76417638
Hannah Phillips 76417637
Hannah Phillips 76417645
Jerome Phillips 76417649
John R. Philllips 76417640
Jonis Phillips 76417642
Mary Elizabeth Phillips 76417650
Mary J. Phillips 76417651

I hope that helps! Thank you!

Isaac Skellenger (1860-1927)
Request you review Find A Grave memorial # 110278389; I'm quite sure this is the same individual as your memorial. The cited memorial has a photo of Isaac's headstone and it has two Ls in the last name: Skellenger. Although this branch has a history of use of one L and two Ls in the same family, historical dox, e. g., census, suggest Isaac was a two L user. Believe Isaac's obit writer got it wrong.
Happy to answer any questions or provide source data.
s, Mike Skellenger
