I'm retired and spend my time helping others find missing loved ones, who have long since passed away. I receive many kind messages from people that are thankful for the joy of finding a relatives final resting place. I'm all about quality when it comes to my memorials. Quantity doesn't mean a thing to me when adding memorials here. Hope you like the work I have done. My favorite sayings are below.|
Life is short, be selfish with your time. From the womb to the tomb, we are all related. Love remains, long after the door closes.

|Anonymous||Rev. James Francis Bennett|
I was glad to see my ancestor, the Rev. "Fran" Bennett, here on Find a Grave - thanks for adding him! However, you list his father as William Bennett and that is almost certainly in error, even though it's the name provided on his Calhoun County, WV death certificate. Several of us descendants are convinced from all the evidence that William was actually the Rev. Fran's GRANDfather, not his father. We do know that William was the father of James Alexander Bennett, and that the latter married Sarah Ann Wright in Calhoun County in May 1859. The Rev. Fran's death certificate accurately identifies Sarah Ann Wright as his mother, and the marriage record of James Alexander & Sarah Ann Bennett states that J.A. Bennett's father was named William. The Sherman Township, Calhoun County census of 1870 and that of 1880 show a James Francis as a son in the household of James A. and Sarah Bennett. The informant listed on the Rev. Fran's death certificate is his second wife, Ellen (Hamric) Bennett, who married him a good 13 years after James Alexander Bennett's death, so she would never have actually known her father-in-law and it appears she got confused and got his name wrong.

I seen that you posted a picture of Floyd P Lynn.
Are you related to him?

Thanks for the pic of Lucy's marker. Interestingly, I have seen Lucy's name given as Ivy. Kinda odd. I have Cyrus' third wife's info and Cyrus' parents, also, if you want it. Although, Cyrus and Sarah are buried in Champaign county, Illinois, that is not where they died. I had quite a time unraveling the third marriage. Way on down the line we are related to either Cyrus or Sarah...my notes are on another computer that needs to go to be fixed. I loved the pic u added-old green house...it was taken before Forrest was born. You are right, this poor man experienced much sorrow in only 2 years. If I can be of help with genealogy, let me know_:).
Links are done. Thanks so much!!! Did you notice he was buried with his third wife Sarah?

I just now saw your message. Again, thank you for adding Rick. Kim's Carnefix side is part of my family. I would love to see a photo of her headstone. Is the Given Cemetery gate unlocked all the time or do you have to see someone to get in? I was only there one time about a couple years ago and I didn't find her headstone.

Thank you for adding Kim's father to her memorial.

Dearest Rosa, My name is Bob Miller. I live in Fort Worth, Texas and many of my people are in both Old and New Lebanon Cemeteries. I have been in contact with Tracie Shrader Flack, who is restoring the Old Lebanon Cemetery. She and I share relatives there. I do so appreciate your efforts and feel badly for those who want the others of their family not to know their heritage. I also am retired and want my children to know their history. Thank You Again, Bob

Do you happen to know where her brother Oconno (or Okkono) is buried? I am trying to link one of his daughters to him, but can't find anything about him after the 1910 census. It's like he disappeared.
