Looking to save not just the names and dates, but the history.|
The family lines I am researching: Nagel, Brigham, Kleinfeldt, Gerber, Hiegert, Scheick, Clark and others.
How I ended up with all those veterans: The cemetery my paternal Great Grandmother is in lost her. They had it narrowed down to a section, however one day she was in the north end the next she was in the south. We spent over four hours searching. While we were there, I ran into a cat who was hanging out at one particular grave. (On the marker actually) I approached and the cat took off but stopped about twenty feet away and watched me. The grave marker that seemed to be of interest to the cat happened to belong to an Army veteran. I am not superstitious but if there was going to be a sign this would be it. So I started shooting the markers of any veterans I could find, and any obvious relatives. By the way did I mention it was Armed Forces Day?

Jeanne & Ken,
Love the story on your profile! I took my parents to St. Patrick Cemetery in Wadsworth. They like to walk in old cemeteries, and liked the look of this one. I pointed to the back, where there was a deer grazing. It hopped the fence and ran off. I suggested we check out where it had been. Dad grinned from ear to ear when he saw that it was his O'Hare ancestors! A sign? Maybe not. But definitely awesome! (Dad is #90739920)
I am/was researching the descendants of Patrick & Margaret (Craney) O'Hare. Margaret (Clark) Lahey #58829296 was one of them. I would love to know how you are related! If you send me your email address, I'll give you access to my website. I have stored all my research there, for safe keeping. (I am currently living in South Korea, and my genealogy papers are in a box somewhere.)
Looking forward to hearing from you!

There was a hiccup in the system when I made the memorial for Charles Wiebers. I took care of the multitude of duplicates before I got your SAC but appreciate your looking out for me/Find A Grave! Cheers.

Of course you can use them. That's the whole idea behind taking them in the first place.
