Great work that you have done! Just an FYI, George Carson's middle name is actually "Cady" not Manuel. Manuel was his son, John's middle name - taken after his grandfather, Manuel Dominguez. Also, most evidence actually points to a birth year for George of 1832. The 1829 date was surmised by some historians from the age George gave at the time of his enlistment into the military - he was actually only 15 but he told recruiters he was 18. Later in life his actual age given always matched the 1832 date.
Leon Joseph Manfre Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph the grave of Leon Joseph "Doc" Manfre. In Calvary Cemetery, Los Angeles. I was so excited when I seen his tomb has a photo of him !!!! The only other photo I'd see of him were newspaper photos. Thank you so much for this !
Victoria Cotton There is a much more interesting story about Victoria Cotton and her family if you are interested in making a different bio for her. Can you tell me the location of this grave? Thank you.
We really appreciate you taking the time to search out this grave. I do love that you said the grave jumped out in front of you. If you were talking to non genealogy-crazed people that may have seemed odd. To us it's just another day. :)
RE: request Yes there is a headstone... Thanks SOOO much! previous voulenteers have not been able to find it, but the office tells me that it is there. I had them clean it about 2 days ago in case someone could look. OH it means so much to me and my family, thanks again JEREMY BC
request Hello. I was looking at the page for the Calvary cemetery in Los Angeles where my aunt (Rosemarie Baudet) is burried. I saw that you had contributed to that cemetery in the past. Would you be wiling to go out and photograph the headstone? The link to her memorial is:
