I have been doing genalogy and family history since I was 16. I also study the meaning of surnames, but my interest in heraldry is really what got me started. I have done extensive work on my wife's family, as well. Principal names of interest include Middleton, Stogdill, See and Allen. My wife's families are Bidstrups, Nelsons, Greenes and Fords. I was born in Centerville, Iowa and grew up in Independence, Missouri. I have lots of relatives who lived in Schuyler and Scotland Counties in Missouri and Appanoose and Davis Counties in Iowa. I live in San Antonio, Texas.|

I'm so sorry. I obviously clicked on the wrong outstanding request when I sent my message. So sorry for the confusion.
Hope that you have a terrific evening.

I have checked with the cemetery and they have no record of a burial for Jeremiah Griffin.
You should know that there technically is no "Rose Hill Cemetery." The cemetery is called Kirkland Cemetery. It is located on Rose Hill in Kirkland.
I'm not sure who created this cemetery or why people keep adding names to it.
Sorry, I couldn't have been more help.

Not sure if Phil Magana is related, but my father says we have Magana cousins up there!

I noticed May Mason was buried right next to the Carters. Was she related? I took a picture of her grave just in case. Also many James family members were buried in the Lot as well. Let me know.

Got it! There is a flat marker near his wife's large marker. I also had the lady edited the info in the database to reflect it is I, not T McDonald. They had McDonal.

I called the cemetery office back b/c she said there was a T. McDonald when I was there this morning. I I had not looked at the memorial page until I could not "find" him! I asked her to look again at the writing. She said the script was hard to read in the original book, and could be an I. I will return tomorrow to look at the location. It is next to Rebecca, wife of I.M. Carter. So sorry that I did not print the memorial page as I usually do when I go to look for the graves! The lady says she does not know if there is a marker for the husband, but the wife has one.

It has been our pleasure to be of help in your search.
|Kyle Middleton||RE: Uncle Harold & Aunt Judy|
Thanks. The crazy thing about Uncle Harold's plot was I stumbled upon it within 10 minutes of entering the cemetery. I thought as big as that place was it would take me a long time to located them. Very fun day!
|Michael Hague||Anna Bidstrup|
Phil,are you related to an Anna Bidstrup that lived in Foresthill, Placer Co., California in the late 1950's to the early 1960's ? She was a 1st grade teacher for several years there. I found a SSDI record for a Anna Bidstrup that was born in 1907 and died in 1992 at Sutter, California. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks... Michael
