I am living in Jackson County, Oregon and love to help people find their families. I have been searching and connecting mine for 10 years.|
I will be more then happy to do retakes if the original pictures do not meet your expectations. I will also add historical or personal information about the person, but would prefer to transfer your family members to you.
But please use the edit tab in the upper right corner so I can fix the mistakes or transfer.

Noticed that you have my great great grandfather, Martin Ely, listed as buried in the Astoria Cemetery in Astoria, Illinois. His last name on his tombstone, as well as, most legal documents is spelled Ely not Eley and he is actually buried in the Sixteen Cemetery near Summum, Illinois with his wife. I visit this cemetery often as I have several relatives buried there. His Find A Grave number is 62772232 and his tombstone is clearly displayed on his site. You do have his birth and death dates correct and he did die at the home of his son in Bardolph, Illinois. However, his remains are not buried in the Astoria Cemetery.
Have a good day!

Hi Fran -- I've been working on photos at EP and can't locate this person anywhere. He's not in the va grave locator. Do you have any add'l info on his burial location at EP? Thanks, Mary

Do you have a source for his birth date? (His entry in in Cullum's Biographical Register of the Graduates of the Military Academy (Class of 1886, entry 3172, online at http://bit.ly/Cullum3172 with a pretty brief career biography ) just has "March" and I'd like to refine that of course.

Just a note to ask if you are related to Elizabeth Rebecca Coleman SCOTT McMahon...she is my 4th Great Aunt.
If so, I'd love to collaborate with you; if not, would you consider a transfer to ID#4769415?
With appreciation for your efforts on Find-a-Grave,

I was wondering if you would please delete the above mentioned number. Your spelling of her name is wrong. The correct is entered under #125739477. This memorial has a photo of her tombstone and is linked to her husband and his family. Thank you very much

would you have any objections to my using your photo of W Henry's gravestone to illustrate my family tree. I'd also like to use your woodland photo if that's ok.
Thank you so much for the time and effort you put in to help those of us on the other side of the world see the final resting places of our relatives.
