PLEASE use the NEW Edit System when possible for making any name or date changes to a memorial. You add the changes yourself and I approve them or contact you for further clarification. The new systems also allows you to track your change request as you get notified when they are approved.
Transfer requests: Generally glad to transfer any memorial, as per site guidelines. (for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.). If you'd rather just have it updated, glad to do that too.
I enjoy photography, genealogy and visiting cemeteries, for the peace, solitude, fulfillment of my family tree and for the thrill of making a connection for others. (and for the exercise). This is a hobby for me.

|Garth Woodward||Charlotte Dixon|
Hi. I see you took a picture of the spot where Charlotte Dixon should be located in the Elmwood Cemetery. However, some of the memorials in Elmwood have the plot numbers and last names mixed up. Charlotte Dixon is one of them. On the official website for Elmwood, she is buried at 15-G0213. However on Find A Grave it says she is at 14A-G0077. Perhaps you might want to check at 15-G0213. There are actually a large number of Elmwood memorials with wrong plot numbers and wrong last names. It will take a long time to fix them all.
|Tom Banning||RE: Banning|
Hi Jim - just found I have another relative in Elmwood cemetery, Winnipeg George's brother William (wife Mary & sibling, Claud) apparently died in Winnipeg too. If you have a chance to take pics it would be appreciated. Sorry you might have to go back.

Thanks for the prev. pic of Geo E. Banning & Cynthia. Found out that a brother William Ward Banning died there too (6/14/1885) He had 5 children & I think 3 lived/died there too (they were William W.II, Claud P, & Ethel (who married a John A. Dunsheath). Thanks again if you can find these too.
|Harald Wolf||RE: Violet Paul|
Can't believe I haven't actually replied and thanked you for taking pictures of the Paul plot.
I had also requested a family friend to do the same, but she did not do the trimming you did and her pics of the plaques were pretty much useless.
The reason I asked a more generic question for photos is because I don't actually know which of the clan are buried there.
Newly widowed Margaret moved to Winnipeg from Scotland with her 12 kids, but most eventually dispersed across Canada and into the States.
I have chronicled their story here:
Thanks again for the pictures!
|PAXTON FAMILY||Many thanks!|
You provided me with a photo I had requested of Percy Williams' gravesite, for which I am very grateful, even though it's not the person I'm looking for. But thanks anyway.
|Bonnie Louise Abbott||Abbott|
Hi Bonnie, I added the marker for T E Abbott. Hope that is alright.
Thanks, Jim that is great.
I was curious as to how my name (Eric) was so far off from the name (Charles) on the stone. I found his obit and his name was actually Eric Charles Tinling, but he went by Charles. So I left the Eric and added Charles as his middle name.
Thank you so much for the picture! I haven't been on here for a few months - it was a lovely surprise.
Merry Christmas & thank you again,

Thank you Jim and yes that would be wonderful! Just let me know how best to have it sent.
And Christina is right, the picture in the snow made it so beautiful!
I was wondering if anyone knew of a place I could hire to have her gravestone cleaned? Or is there such a place?
Once again I thank you all, you are great people and I appreciate greatly the time you have spent volunteering your time. I hope you know the happiness you have brought to many.
Have a wonderful holiday season!

Thank you for going out in the snow to take photos of the Schram gravemarkers. I really appreciated it. Happy holidays!!!
