RE: Muade Mary Miller
Thank you Bob for your prompt reply. How stupid of me not to check your transcription /photograph for Sir Francis Miller again.
I am a little confused as I am sure that Maude Mary Meredith married Sir Francis Henry Miller. I had noticed in your transcription/photograph that you had Lady Maud Miller (nee Moat). Maude Mary Miller was the daughter of Frederick Thomas Meredith of England. I have applied for her will but it has not yet arrived.
I am trying to obtain her marrige certificate but had trouble as evidently I applied to the incorrect department in Ireland and have not yet had a chance to re examine where I purchase it.

I know of the children born of the marriage It was Eileen Mary McCorkell who was present at the death.
Thank you for your help - will look forward to hearing from you. Ongoing - Australia

You transcribed the grave of her husband Sir Francis Henry Miller -Find A Grave memorial:102901179 but I cannot find anything for Maude Mary Miller.

Hello Bob,

David Campbell was my uncle. How did you obtain his military record as to where he was a POW? and do you have any more information?

Regards

Hugh Stevenson
Hello Bob

I noticed you had had a message from someone called Jack Wilson about a Hugh Stevenson. Presumably the cemetery he mentions is the City Cemetery in Derry.

My gt gt grandfather Hugh Stevenson is buried there (died in 1883) and has quite a large gravestone mentioning members of his family. Don't know if you have registered it or not.

I note there is a mention in another message to Jack of a Hugh Stevenson at Manorcunningham. That Hugh Stevenson was the son of the above Hugh Stevenson and was at one time minister of Second Ray Presbyterian Church there. He died in 1904 and is also mentioned on the above tombstone.

All. The best Deirdre McClure

Greenbank Presbyterian
Hi, Bob -
I hope this isn't an imposition: I'm trying to understand when the Greenbank Presbyterian Church started, and how it is different from Fahan Presbyterian Church - or are they the same? From what little I understand, Fahan Church may have started in the 1600s, but the Greenbank page states the church was built in 1862.

I am searching for any Blackburns that might be in the Greenbank Cemetery, as well as Eliza Blackburn Brookins, who died 1867, and her daughter, who died in 1869.

Any help is appreciated!
Sincerely,
Sarah

Patrick McCormack #28325147
Hello, and thank you for taking the photo of my relatives grave stone and posting it up here at Find A Grave

Just one correction...

George McCormack (national teacher), was my maternal grandfather, and he shares the same gravestone as his father Patrick as noted in your transcription. However, he died in 1936, not 1956 as stated in the transcription.
