Margaret Lucille Cortes Stark. Cortes/ Kramer cemetery in LA.
Ramsey out of Coulumbus, Texas. ? Daughter of Republic?
I am speaking to her daughter as I am typing this.
This is in reference to the above.
She has a brother Armand Cortes but legally changed his name in Harris County, Houston, Texas to His Mothers Maiden last name Ramsey.
He was known as Armand Ramsey and retired from the post office. He was a Veteran and belong to the Anerican Legion on Parker Road in Houston, Texas. He was know as Pete? Or something like that.
Armand (Cortes) Ramsey was married twice.
Second wife was Beulah Kidder Ramsey.from Beaux Bridge, La, was married the first time to a Landry. Her cousin is related to Policians. She was Spanish and German.and spoke French.
The year before Katrina I Found the entire Cortes/Kramer family in Bayou Beauf La. There is a book written by Martin Cotes and Armand was the Missing link due to the name change.
I put on the first Family reunion in 200 years there at the volunteer fire department.
His sons Glenn Allen and Wayne Ramsey are still alive along with Margarets children Wanda Reevs and Robert Stark.
Family Tree has the book on the Cortes/Kramer.

Thank you for posting Amiee's name. Her dad was Louis "Papa Louie" Lucadou, he died March 27, 2008, and he is buried at South Park Cemetary. I am Amiee's mom. You have her birthdate wrong. Amiee was born on November 17, 1976 at 12:17 A.M. at Herman Hospital in Houston Texas.

Sorry, Karen, you will need to contact the cemetery for that information. I do know that they have standards, i.e., each Mausoleum and/or Memorial Wall has a specific style, so you cannot just purchase one from another vendor and then have the cemetery install it. Just another way they get your money, I guess. I suppose the mausoleum walls would not look as nice if everyone was just allowed to have a different style of plaque.

Thank you for adding the photo of this Veteran. My son and I sort of adopted his brother Sam Rodger Brown who lies at rest in Ft. Smith National Cemetery in Arkansas. We did a bit of research on our Marine and found out he served in a very special company; he was a Raider. We decided to partake with some additional research and we are even trying to get in touch with Sam's daughter via Facebook. So far, no response.
But I want to thank you for taking the time to post this photo. It helps us with our endeavor as well.
