Bio and Links
Bio Photo Transfers under the following guideline. I've learned a long time ago you can't please everyone and I'm not going to try. For you who like to break the rules, don't waste your or mine time. If your request is outside my guidelines, I will ignore and delate your request.

GUIDELINES:

Generation 1: your family -- Husband - wife - your children - son-in laws - daughter-in-laws - grandchildren.

Generation 2: your and spouse parents -- Father - Mother - aunts - uncles - 1st cousins - wives and hubands of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Generation 3: Grandparents - their siblings and their children -- huband and wife of siblings and children.

Generation 4: Great Gradparents - their siblings and their children - huband and wife of siblings and children.

NO transfers beyond the great-grandparents and NO transfers of Revolution Soliders or Civil War Soliders or Sailors.

This is a MUST!!! You have to tell me your RELATIONSHIP to the person you want transfered and PROVE if I shoud ask FOR proof. No relatonship...no transfer.

Don't waste my time with: I went school with...I do research for another person would you consider transfering...they were neighbors to my grandparents...I work with this person...they were my neighbors when I was a kid...just this once would consider breaking the rules...ect. ect. ect. If you are not related, forget it. My transfers go to family members who fall within the guide lines.

For you who think there should be no rules and should transfer every request that comes down the pipe, take it up with Find A Grave. They're the ones who set the rules.

CORRECTIONS: For you impatient persons who believe your request should be answered in a 24 hours period of time. Get Real! I may have 30 or 40 other requests before yours comes in. I do answered all corrections but it might take several day or weeks. I don't spent 24-7 at the computer. I know this is hard for you to believe but I do have a life outside the computer. I do have family and friends I spent time with, I have a part time job, yard ward, house keeping, grocery shopping, library research, visiting cemeteries for tombstones to photograph, searching cemeteries for requested tombstones and other chores that has to be do.

MY PERSONAL GOAL: My reason for joining Find A Grave is to presrve graves and their tombstones. That's where the bulk of my time on the computer goes, adding people and their tombstones. Corrections and tranfers are done when I can find extra time in the day. So if it takes me one or two months to answering your requests, so be it. Don't give me any guff, that if I can't keep up with the requests, I should transfer the memorials to someone who can. Get Real!! It won't happen!

Richard

I would like to ask permission to use your photo of the above named headstone for my family history and on Ancestry.com. I would, of course, credit you with the photo.

Thank you for the work you do, it is appreciated.

Mary Ann/Nancy Pullins
Hi,

I am currently researching the Pullins line, and found some inconsistencies on Ancestry.com with some people listing Loftus Pullins' (1780-1862) wife (1786-1841) as Mary Ann and others listing her as Nancy. When I looked for her on here I saw that you have both listed, and they have the same birth and death years. I see that you have a picture of Nancy's headstone but none of Mary Ann. Are these somehow two different people with two different headstones?

Thanks for any insight you can give!

Willis A. Aldrige
Richard,
I, like you, am not on the computer every day. I actually appreciate the speed in which you responded to my transfer request. Thank you for transferring Willis' Memorial to me.

Memorials
Hi Richard,

I understand that "ALL" contributors have their personal lives and activities besides being computer bound. But you have to realize that since you create these memorials, it's your responsibility as caretaker to make edits and transfer requests as soon as possible. Find A Grave does have a 30 day policy and considers the "caretaker" as being inactive and will take other measures if necessary. Please reconsider on what you place in you personal bio and take care. All of us should be working together on keeping the memories alive instead of working on our egos. It's not about the numbers. If you can't keep up, stop or ask for help. I hope you don't find this message as insulting or anything, that's not my intent.

I have been unable to locate the Anthony Cem. and Foster Cem. on the Allen Co. maps.I assume they are in the New Roe area. Can you help me?

Alice Beathe
I have added her as second wife of Preston Beathe. Do you know anything about where she would be buried? It would be nice if she had a memorial. I looked and could not find anything.

Memorial #49560934, Willis A. Aldrige
Hello Richard
Willis A. Aldrige was the husband of my aunt, Dolly F (West) Aldrige. Dolly was my father's sister, therefore my aunt. According to your transfer guidelines, this would be a second generation family member.
If you would transfer his Memorial to me, it would be greatly appreciated. I understand it may not happen immediately, and that's fine.
Thanks in advance!
