I enjoy genealogy and did quite a bit for my mother before she passed away. I plan, in the future, to add all the information I have on the families to this site and other search sites for those who may be interested in the family histories I have and with hope others will share their information with me.|
I am also familiar with most of the cemeteries of Wilson County, Texas. If you have a question, please ask and I will try to help you.
I am currently researching the following names:
Whittington, Hobbs, LeClere, Sample, Lee, Garrison, Clegg, Henrie and many more on my collateral lines. Hobbs and Whittington and Lee are my direct lines. I am also a reunited adoptee with an entire new family line to research. The main line I am researching on my bio family is Scherffius, along with Mansfield and Kennedy.

|Richard Klapper||Jesse Hobbs family|
My name is Richard Klapper and I am a volunteer at the Alvin Museum. I noticed your excellent information on the Jesse Hobbs memorial along with those of his family. I am particularly interested in the pictures you posted of Jessie, Celia and their children. The museum would very much appreciate it if you would let us have scans of the photos. We actually have quite a bit of information on Jesse and Horace. I am particularly interested in the photo of Horace Hobbs working inside the butcher shop. I would really love to get a high resolution scan of that photo. The shop was Model Meat Market on Sealy Street. We have a photo of the outside of the Model Meat Market with Horace and about 7 or 8 other men standing in front of it. Please contact me at email@example.com so we can talk further. We would be happy to share information with you.

Thank you so much for your king and quick reply. Regarding my question/ suggestion.
I am sooooo new at this , I apologize gor not providing the information you needed.
I will provide what I think you need. (am praying I do it right :). )
Bettye B Edwards is Mem. Number is : 3022370
James Walter Edwards , Mem. Is: 3022405
They are husband and wife buried at Ft.Sam Houston, Tx.
(2). To answer your other question - regarding my requesting the Soc Sec Index statement...reg 1951..etc .. ..
. I simply see no reason for 3022370 (BBE) to have that info noted , as it is not on her husbands and several other persons at Ft.Sam --and some do have it at Ft. Sam but I am simply asking as a personal family request that Find a Grave remove those few words from 3022370.
If there is a problem with my request please let me know.
Thank you for all your hard work which millions of us are so greatful for. Again my sincere thank you.

|Kinley||RE: Adam Garrison in West Plains, MO|
I don't have or remember anymore info beyond encountering a large headstone/monument of a Mr. Garrison, who was the former public school superintendent of West Plains. I remember his dates were late 1800s to early 1900s. I'm not sure if there are other Garrisons buried beside him or not.
I do plan on going back next month to Greene, Howell, Oregon, Taney, Wright Counties in Missouri, and to Carroll and Fulton Counties in Arkansas. I'll search for and make note of the names in your message and other Garrisons in Oak Lawn Cemetery in West Plains then. Is there anyone or anything else you'd like me to research or photograph in or near those counties during my trip?

|Kinley||Adam Garrison in West Plains, MO|
I visited Oak Lawn Cemetery in West Plains, MO on August 30. I saw that you request a photo of Adam E. Garrison's grave. I came across a Garrison section, including a former city school superintendent, on the N.E. corner by entrances. I did not notice an Adam though. He could be buried elsewhere in this cemetery.
