Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
So many years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

Hi Ruth. I am trying to locate Wanda Mae (Black) Parum ____?, who may have died before 2016. She married Roy Wallace Parum about 1960, and they had a son, Tommie Roy Parum (1962-1980) before they divorced ca 1964. The Parum family lived in Lovington, NM for several years before moving. I'm told Wanda's family lived there, Maljamar, or Hobbs, NM. I'm hunting for Wanda and her family for my hubby's cousin/Wanda's grandson, who never met her. We aren't certain she is deceased as yet, just rumors. I'm also told that Wanda's parents MAY be Tommie & Beulah Black, but that, too, is unproven at this point. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Your welcome. I photographed all other known family there also. I assume you are related in some way as well.
