Are you related to her? Was she ever a housemother in Pasadena?
|Teresa||Lucy B. Bogart Blount|
Hi, I am researching my Bogart family and found this memorial for Lucy Bogart Blount #10697013 in Coleman Co., Tx. My great grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Bogart Bays Memorial #60106119 was born in Coleman Co., Tx to James Monroe Bogart and Elizabeth Terry Bogart. Her stepmother was Ellen E. McDonald Tully Bogart. I am wondering if you know Lucy's parents and if she was a relative to mine since they lived in Coleman Co., Tx. also. Kind regards, Teresa

Thanks for the information. I have linked them to him. If you know what year Connie and Mandy were married I will include that also.

Bob Joe ... I published a 3 volume set of gravestone inscription in 1988. In 2008, The Trickham Cemetery hired my wife and I to do a new survey and large scale map of the locations of the graves there. I have been filling in the gaps of what has been added at the cemetery and came across your memorials of the Blasingames. On the old records of Trickham Cemetery, which we used in 1988 and carried over to the new survey and map in 2008, the name used was BLASSENGAME. I am glad that you supplied the correct information. I will let the cemetery association know of this correction.
In researching the name, I found the obituary of C. W. and have added it to his memorial. I am looking for the obituary of C. C. We do know where these graves are located and I have placed images of their markers on their memorials. It appears that the stone of C. C. could have had some inscriptions on it, but I cannot make it out. The markers on the other two were placed there by the cemetery association. They were originally maked with bricks that are also still in place.

You are more than welcome. I was only able to photograph the right side of the cemetery before the sun took its toll on me in mid day!
Since finding the Find A Grave website last year I have been trying to support it by photographing cemeteries on my travels. So many of the markers are being lost to time and weathering, so I think this website is a fantastic resource for genealogists as well as a wonderful way to pay tribute to our loved ones.
